Don't understand why they would move Walker back forward. He was an elite player last year playing as a rebounding defender, but in years previously he had been an average (maybe just above) forward. Why move him back up there when he has done so well down back?

They have nobody else ahahah
Could have Waite, Henderson and the resting ruck as the 3 talls, then can have Garlett, Yarran, Robinson, Menzel, even Daisy running round as the smaller forwards.

Just my opinion though obviously. Just don't get why you would take a guy out of a position where he had a career best year and should have easily been named in the AA squad.

where is thomas going to play? although i dont think he is very defensively minded he could be a great rebounding half back who sets up play with his great foot skills

in saying this i would have walker as my preferred half backmen ,, he is a quality player ....

I cant see bartel scoring as well as he has in the past either

my clear top 4 backs are mcveigh mitchell walker and thompson

starting to get the shivers about hanley and the possible tags that could come his way

the next best 2 backs will be out of hanley mckenzie shaw and hibberd imo ... then simpson bartel

Anyone fancy a bit of Luke Hodge? Averaged about 98 this year unsubbed, played 22 games and has a great SC history as a player, went 110+ many times so is very fantastic relevant.

At the moment I am starting

D1 McVeigh
D2 Bartel
D3 Mitchell
D4 Hodge

My reasoning is that they will all get reasonable time through the middle and are all capable of elite scoring for defenders. They are all consistent players in top teams.

My jury is still out on Walker - I dont think mick has finished fiddling with the team so I would prefer to wait and see.

Hanley is my next preferred but i'm wary of potential tags
