Put this together on SC gold what do you think.

BACKS - mitchell  swallow  watts  suckling  d grimes  mcdonald  ( gardiner  fuller )

MIDS   - ablett  pendlebury  watson  murphy d beams  martin  mitchie  sheed  ( cunningham  honeychurch )

RUCKS - minson  goldstien  (  smith  holmes )

FOR    - dangerfield  martin  gray  hogan  fasolo  kersten  (  garlett  impey )

Have not looked to hard at the byes yet think it's 12/9/9 but will adjust a bit with rookies
not worried to much with ruck rookies don't know of any that look like getting regular games yet
leaves me with $9200 left so what are your thoughts with this I would like to hear peoples thoughts cheers  :)

Backs: looks quite weak with Swallow and watts as D2/3
Mids: Very strong, perhaps downgrade Gaj to Rockliff or someone around that range and use the extra to upgrade Watts to Mcveigh or Bartel.
Rucks: Perfect
Fwds: Looks quite risky with hogan, fasolo, kersten as F4/5/6. Might have to find some cash else where and make a couple of upgrades

Ringo

At the moment your backs and forwards are a risk imo.

You have the Top 3  priced mids and top 2 priced rucks in your team., coupled with premium priced rookies in Martin and Hogan you are putting a lot of cash into these 7 players (3.7m of your salary cap). Whilst this may appear to be a sound strategy it really cruels your other lines, Personally I think you should only start one of Hogan or Martin and downgrade the other. I would also downgrade one of your rucks to possibly Sandi given his value.  This will allow you to get an extra prem in back line or defence.

Not a bad first up team but play around a little with less expensive premiums and see what you can do with defence and forward line.

Cheers nib for your ideas , agree backs an forwards are a concern but with all these expensive rookies this time it is making life difficult for everyone hopefully there will be a few cheaper ones shine through before the start of the season to save some cash. After this season with terlich , goodes , and vlastuin outscoring my dearer defenders quite often I might go down this path but agree one more gun would be nice , I think fasolo can get back to being a regular for the pies and make some cash so as long as he is in round 1 I'm on board , don't think I could downgrade ablett maybe watson to free a bit of cash up will have a tinker with that cheers .

Thanks for your thoughts Ringo I hate having these expensive rookies in the team not just the ones you mentioned the others to hopefully there will be some cheaper options before round 1 , I've sworn that I am going in with 2 top rucks and if they don't perform it's easy to jump on a cheapie before round 3 but very hard to do the opposite with little cash left , so that leaves the mids to change and hopefully a couple of cheaper rookies to raise some cash cheers

Ringo

No worries just continue playing around - We are all in the same boat this year with the price of rookies being escalated.

shaker

Yeah and with the higher prices I gather that means they will have to score better to make money compared to a cheaper one's

Ringo

Of course or the rate of increase will be more steady which is one of the reasons I am looking at Round 10 bye rookies so they can play through the first two byes and be then be upgraded to prems who have already had their byes.

I also agree with the Ringo and the others who have stated that your backs and forwards are weakened by picking a Strong Midfield and 2 premium rucks i would go with either Ablett & Pendlebury but not both and and get sandilands in as second ruck.
Backs: Upgrade Watts to Thompson or Mcveigh
Mids: Seems to be a bit strong here i would look at Downgrading Ablett to someone like Rory Sloane
Rucks: Downgrade one of those 2 to Sandilands
Fwds: Maybe Gray to Pavlich aneed to see whether your rookies have been selected.

Overall Team Needs improvement just fiddle around with it and you will get the right set up.7/10

Thanks for your input johnny looking at it again I will probably downgrade watson for some cash ( gotta keep ablett ) and hopefully save some more on rookies put that into forward line run the risk in backline or visa versa  have no interest in sandi but will see how he is going closer to the start of the season , every other year have tried to skimp out on rucks with no luck and lost huge points through the season not this year but it is still 2013 and a long way to go yet cheers  ;)
