Have done no rookie research to date so forgive me for my dud picks in that department.

Cheers all

Def:  Reasonably strong team.  I like Swallow as a unique pick.  Waters & Birchall can get a little injury prone which is why they are underpriced Premos, so a bit risky.  If the can get on the park though they should score well.

Mids:  Very strong.  Not going with Jack Martin as a rookie is an interesting move.  Early reports have him as the must have, even with his price.

Rucks:  NicNat is no certainty to be ready round 1 with the WCE coach unable to confirm if NicNat will play in the preseason comp.

Fwd:  This where I think you get a little weak.  Bock could be a nice unique pick, but remember he hasn't really played in almost 2 years so be wary.  Not really sure about your rookies here either.  Based on early reports Lewis Taylor would be a nice selection and has the DPP to go with it.

ROSYS BEER NUTS

Agree with Maggie, awsome lines at the expense of the fwds.
Id prefer to search for some more vlaue picks with less risk within the fwd line..
Love the Swallow pick.
Tom Mitchell is probably going to be a good pick, but moral rules wont allow me to touch a fantastic second year player. Burnt too many times.

Birchall injury prone? Did you mean Suckling?

Def: I had Waters locked in for a long time, but not so sure now with his price tag, was hoping he'd be under 380k. Has proven how well he can score though, and I think every second year he plays most games, and we all know what happened last year.
Mids: Not a fan of JPK as a starter as I don't think he'll get back to that 2012 average as there are just too many high scoring players at Sydney. Would probably downgrade to a rookie (Jack Martin).
Rucks: Seem fine as long as they're both fit and ready come round 1.
Fwd: Too weak IMO. Would swap Mitchell for someone like Pavlich or Dusty. I think Dixon could be a good pick.

Thanks all for the feedback!

I feel the forward line is definitely the line to take the risk on this year.  Suckling/Waters/Bock/Clark/Thomas all subject to a good showing in the preseason.

May end up switching Daisy to Martin and turning Bock into Tex if he actually does recover for the start of the year.

Strict no d***head policy with Dusty aha.  I am intrigued by Pav though, not sure if his age will get to him.

Forwards are probably going to get upgraded a bit depending on how the rookies look by round 1.

OK done a little rookie research and restructured.

Nice Team just need to ensure rookies playing round 1 especially with relying on 2 rookies in defence each week.

Def: Sound - Birchill and Swallow nice uniques. have not seen Bircill in many teams and Swallow may finally break out this year.
Mids: Sound - Will Griffen maintain last years form with the extra attention he is likely to receive this year. Nice POD in JPK who does not appear in many teams. Will be good for year if he returns to 2012 form. Jack may attract the tag now as well.
Rucks; Seems to be the preferred paring this year and have Dixon with DPP as cover.
Fwds: Mitchell is the one that concerns me 2nd year syndrome and how will he fit in with Tippett, Buddy and Parker. Maybe look at similar priced players do not mind Sylvia at a new club at around that price.

Well done and good luck.

This team been chopped around a million times so I thought I'd give an update.  Quite happy with this at the time being.

Would love to hear you guys think of it.

Scharenburg-->cheaper rookie, McDonald on field (perhaps Tippett)
Griffen-->Ablett

Really strong team if you make those changes I reckon

I'd happily make those changes if I had the slightest bit of confidence in back rookies lol.

At this time it looks like Scharenberg has greater JS than McDonald, who might not even make it R1 depending on how things go.

With GAJ I have 6 Suns.  I love the Suns, but 6 is pushing it right?

From what I've heard, Scharenberg won't be playing round 1
Regarding Suns players, I wouldn't really be worried as 3 of them would be cash cows and be traded out of your team by mid-season

Wow, completely missed that.  Scharenberg had a stress fracture in his foot and is taking it slow  in recovery.

Cheers for the feedback!
