Tabs Predictions

2014 SC Average: 110

Tabs says: Kicked a goal in every game he play in 2013 except the final against the blues, in which he only lasted 5 minutes (but still had a chance to get on the scoreboard). With the addition of Buddy and Mummy leaving, I think Tippett plays 70% of the game at full forward and 30% in the ruck. Hopefully this doesn't have any affect on his goal kicking. Only played 10 games last year, and as predicted he kicked the most goals for the Swans in 2013. Could be a good point of difference for some fantasy coaches, especially with the juicy Round 3 clash with the Crows in Adelaide, being the game where his price will either go up or down. Personally i hope he kicks a thousand goals against the crows and he probably will, but he will be too expensive to start, especially with his injury issues late in 2013. Wait to see what his B/E is for R3 but you might want to look at him as an upgrade target after the mid year bye

Reckon he will go 110 Tabs? That would be sick, are you starting him?

not to start the year

I can see his average improving again, but he's a risky choice. I'm considering him, but I'll probably go with Buddy.

Holz

I actually think he is a better pick than buddy and im definately looking at him.

saying that i dont think im taking buddy or tippett.

Can see him proving in 2014, think 110 might be pushing it, if you were confident he can average that you would have to start him priced at an average of 90 as that should make him in the top 2-3 scorers! Id be guessing an average of right on 100.

On my watch list but as far as key forwards go is behind Cloke, Franklin and Roughead

Surely not, the value for someone proven like Buddy is huge.

The problem with both Buddy and Tippett is they didnt play all 22 rounds last year and arent likely to play all 22 next year either

tippet had a injury interupted season and scored 90. He can help out in the ruck and rucks score very well in this game. Could be a safe 100 if he can go 10-15 hitouts a game while kicking a few goals.

He wasn't injured he was suspended. Still not ideal preparation but I would have thought that would give him a leg up if anything being fresher than everyone. I think he will average around 95. Can't see him getting anywhere near 110.

Buddy is proven. We know how big he can go and what he's capable of. He only had one bad season and it was almost expected anyway with the whole contract circus going on.

They are both decent pick ups but I don't think ya can look past buddy at that price. Potential to go 110+ and be a top 2-3 scoring forward

Ricochet

Tippett strained his quad later in the year Quin. I think thats what Holz was referring to
But I agree, Buddy > Tippett

Oh right! Yeah sorry, thought he was referring to the late start.
Regardless buddy> Tippett for me too
