DT talk just posted on Facebook that the prospectus has told us we have unlimited trades until round 2

Has anyone else seen it or heard it anywhere else and is there an article about it???

It's an absolute joke, pretty much no point researching for your starting team now since everyone will have the same team by round 2 anyway. Seriously considering switching to SC now, just hate the scoring system.

whats actually good about this is the people who stick to their guns and arent influenced by round 1 will do good. 50% of people will just pick the guys who did round 1.

I sure hope this isn't true.  Agree with Ada that this will result in nearly identical round 2 teams.

I have always been a DT fan, but am sick of the rules being mucked around with. No reward anymore for putting time, effort and strategy into research.

  Why not have unlimited trades uncapped all season, You can pick a completely new team each round..
      I mean if they're gunna screw DT up even more, they may as well go all the way and do a proper job....

Complete and utter joke. I already paid less attention than normal to DT last year with the stupid player faces and two trades a week, but now I am considering if I will even play the game at all. It just doesn't reward the dedicated player anymore.

Also in the Prospectus it notes that player prices will change after round 2. So no more 3 week rolling prices it seems. Who knows how prices are calculated now?

There might be some good news though. In the prospectus it is listed under "AFL Fantasy Classic". Whether or not this means there is going to be another game as well, maybe something like oldschool DT, I don't know. But it doesn't look like I will be playing AFL Fantasy next year right now.
