Hansen had a big end to the year,playing down back, racking up big numbers rebounding from defence..

Verdict:Hansen's average of 73 may not look impressive when you first look at it, but once you take a closer look at his scores, you realise Hansen has the potential to become a premium defender. After five years of averaging in the fifties and sixties, Hansen finally had a break out year, in 2013.

Hansen had a slow start to the year averaging 65 points (unsubbed) after round 11. But after the bye Hansen started to get going, averaging a very impressive 92.9 from rounds 13-23 when you take out his sub affected score of 0.

Hansen should continue to score well next year playing as the third key defender behind Thompson and Grima and he's not expensive as he's under-priced because of his scores of 0 and 10. At only $393k he's someone to watch as if he can continue to have the same impact as he was towards the end of the year he will be a great buy.
