Is it just me or has the cheer/boo system been killed off!

Yeah it has mate, were you gonna boo for dissing the Saints? ;) :P

Haha, was  checking to see if I received anymore boos.

Nice write up JROO

NROO can play the game but with Dal now gone he will have less quality ball coming into him. His price of $567,100 will surely come down after the first 2 months, then i will look at him.

Cheers Tabs and good thinking, the main reasons why I won't be picking Nroo is because of his price + age. If he was a bit cheaper I'd certainly consider him. Possible upgrade target for me.

How much ball will he get though.? He will probably have to go looking for it to get it and that when his body gets knocked around. Can see him playing every 4 out of 5 games this year as well due to his knee

Saints already had the slide, should finish 16th or 15th. Yes he is but he's the second highest forward averaged and he saw a,lt of the ball and is going to have some mid time, he still gets 80+ often even with 1 or 2 goals as he gets the most marks in the afl.

he's still one of the fittest in the competition. he'll clock up more kilometres than an average player's full game before the game even starts. write him off at your own peril

Never write off a champion.

Southstorm

He was killing it through the first half of the season but then his form dropped. Unless someone can provide an adequate explanation, that's what's going to write him off for me. I can only possibly see him in the top 6 forwards for 2014 just because the level of depth is pretty shallow.

Well I'll just say if you pick a buddy but not Riewoldt, you have no chance of doing well.

How so?

Given his age, and the fact he's playing for the saints who've lost several of their older key players, Riewoldt can only really go one way with his scoring- maybe he'll hold up at a premium level for another year, but there's no chance of him significantly improving on his 2013 results.

On the other hand, Franklin's priced 20ppg lower than his 2012, 2011 and 2010 averages.

I am not doubting Riewoldt because he is a champion but..

That statement is stupid man, no chance if you start an underpriced gun but not an older bloke with an injury effected side and a reduced amount of experiences support.

Your bias has clouded your judgement

Fantasygun

No bias here at all,'Riewoldt is a lot more consistent ,up until about round 17 he'd only dropped below 80 twice, look at how many times franklin did that.... Franklin is in a top heavy forward line. Too many options, he won't get nearly as much as he used to.
Riewoldt is the main target, yes he gets the best defender but he proved this year, he still does quite well. Going for Franklin is a risk that's probably not worth it. Wow he's 31, he was 30 this season and it was one of his best seasons.

Maybe yours and everyone's hate for stkilda is clouding your judgement ;)
