Hi guys was wondering since rookie prices have soared does anyone see less risk in picking players such as bock $135k, fasolo $208k, rohan $138k  ect given there prices are just as good as some rookies appreciate thoughts  ???

Mr.Craig

More money making potential yes. Not necessarily less risk.

It is another source to generate cash but I agree with Mr. Craig, it doesn't necessarily mean leas risk. You can't be avoiding rookies. Plenty of them come onto the scene and easily outscore the players you have mentioned. What I see will be most important is finding the best few mid pricers, with a mix of consistent and reliable premiums that won't drop off badly in the season, thus allowing you to afford the rookies.

I figure if someone like Aish, Billings etc fires early, I'll jump on in Rnd 2-3. Assuming that two trades per week is still happening. Atm my rookies are:
DEF: LRT (I know), Fuller, *not saying*
Mid: Claye Beams, *not saying*, Morabito
Ruck: Derickx
Fwd: Patton, Bock, Fasolo *not saying*

He's a mature age SANFL premiership player, has semi-reasonable scoring potential and is going to the Bulldogs where the hope is he will be used immediately.
