Here is my side with the updated positions. Ive allowed 400k in the bank for the rookie prices to increase.

Salary cap left: $409,500.

Sam Mitchell, Kade Simpson, Shannon Hurn, David Swallow, Matt Suckling, Kurt Aylett
Luke Thompson, Tom Cutler

Scott Pendlebury, Joel Selwood, Nathan Fyfe, Trent Cotchin, Dayne Beams, Dale Thomas, Claye Beams, Jack Martin
Luke Dunstan, Jonothon O'Rourke

Nic Naitanui, Aaron Sandilands
Liam McBean, Joel Tippett

Patrick Dangerfield, Dustin Martin, Lance Franklin, Jesse Hogan, Shane Kersten, Mitch Honeychurch
Jay Kennedy-Harris, Dayle Garlett

DEF:

Mitchell- Safe and reliable pick. Proved he can average 105+ every year, unlike Mcveigh, Walker and Bartel.
Hurn- Unique option. Averaged 94, but priced at 87 due to his injury game. Also finished off the season well.
Simpson-You know youll get 95+ from him. Showed in the second half of last season that he could lift that average to 100.
Swallow- N. 1 draft pick and going into his 4th year. Breakout season on the horizon and not taking up a mid spot.
Suckling- Just 300k and could average 90+

Plenty of premium and mid-priced options in defense. Doesnt look like there will be many decent rookies so a different approach to last year.

MID:

Pendles- Could have his best year yet, and I prefer him over Gazza due to his age.
Selwood- Amazing finish last season.
Cotchin- Potential to average 120+ and hes underpriced due to 2 injury affected 60s at the end of last season.
Fyfe- Another with huge potential. Useful bye.
Beams- Biggest lock this year. Priced at 80 and could average 110+.
Daisy- Although just a mid, still think he provides huge value. 300k but could average 100+.

Was originally going with 3 rookies, but prob just the 2 now with Daisy in there. I think 5 round 8 bye players is the max here. (up to 3 premiums + Beams and JMartin)

RUC:

NicNat- Injury effected last season, and his best is 110+.
Sandi- If fully fit, bargain of the century.

There are hundreds of premium ruck options, so a real shame NicNat loses his MPP too. There are also plenty of mid-priced options so a real dilemma here. The rookies seem very poor other than Mcbean

FOR:

Danger- Could average 130+ as a forward. Enough said.
Dusty- With so many forward options disappearing, we've got to take advantage of someone who will probably play midfield.
Buddy- With the contract saga out of the way, he should get back to averaging 100+.

A real dearth of good forward premiums. We can only hope there are plenty of good rookies, which it does look like ATM. Long way to go till the round 1 teams though.

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.  :)

Backs: Shannon Hurn & David Swallow are the unique picks here be interesting to see how beau waters effects his score.
Mids: Can't Fault that Midfield
Ruck: 2 good who hopefully stay injury free.
Fwds: not so sure about Kersten or Honeychurch but there are not many other rookie options up forward this year.i think you need to drop one of these for either Bock or Higgins its a pity Daisy's not a forward. 7.5/10

Thanks for the advise mate.

Taking a bit of a risk with Hurn and Swallow obviously. Hopefully it will pay off.

I would get Bock or Higgins, but i highly doubt theyll actually be playing round 1.

With the rookies, there actually quite a lot:

Hogan- Obviously a gun, and more developed than others.
Kersten- One of him and Walker have to play, for the sake of SC, hopefully its Kersten.
Paine- Could play round 1 due to Brisbane's lack of firepower.
Spencer White- A gun, could potentially play, unlikely though.
Ben Brown- Unlikely to play ahead of Tarrant, but one that could slot straight in.
Honeychurch- According to SC paige, very likely to get plenty of game time in 2014.
Kennedy-Harris- Plays for Melbourne, so should get game time.
Garlett- If they have a couple of injuries, he could be straight in the side.
Lewis Taylor- Bargain pick for Brisbane, should be a chance to play.

Just remember too McBean is a forawrd only but you have ruck options there,

Do not think Lewis Taylor will get early games for Brisbane as he will be behind Rocky, Redden, Hanley, Rich, Moloney, Mayes, Beams and Aish imo.
