I still won't start with him. I didn't start with Wines in 2013 and I picked him up before Round 3...

I guess it depends on which rookies play Round 1 though.

JKH is looking like a nice pick now that Hoges is more expensive and Viv became a mid as expected.
Yeah, I like JKH too.
I don't think I'll pick Hogan, are you guys going to?
Don't think I'll pick him.
Yeah, I don't think he'd be able to do enough to match his price tag.  :(
I will be picking Jack Martin though, even if he's that price. Will anyone else?
Yep, atm I have him in.
If he really is better than Jaeger, how could you not?

Jaegers body is a bit more set up for AFL footy though, Martin whilst has the talent i reckon will take a few pre seasons to get that body size on (unless hes done it over this season as i havent seen him since nab cup.)

Yeah that is my worry too. Jeager was a tank by Round 1 and that helped heaps obviously, Martins frame is alot smaller.

Mr.Craig

My team is looking uglier by the day.

Are Hogan and Martin still walk up locks now they might be priced at 260K?

If they were 360k I'd still lock them in.

These prices are a joke  :o you can pick up Mitch Clarke for like 50k cheaper than hogan?

Might be an alright option tbh

MGK1

Mitch Clark injury free has to a lock at F5/F6.

Some nice slightly expensive midfield options in Tyson/Michie as well who should play most games. Will definitely be starting one of those two.

SydneyRox

Can see me starting with Mitch Clark... time will tell if its a bad idea....  :-\

not really. Otherwise everyone has Hogan and Martin to start with, because they'd be virtual no-brainers. Now picking them is a risk.
There has to be more corelation between price and demand, something that is sorely lacking with 44 trades last season

So now every man and his dog will have Mitch Clarke instead of hogan which is even more of a no brainier considering he will average a lot more

Mitch Clark is injury prone..and that is reflected in his price. Not everyone will have Clark...there are only so many injury prone discounted players you can take this risk with.
