Ablett plays 95% game time, thats insane im not sure anybody can keep those numbers up let alone in their 30s.

it means ablett is more likely to be rested/injured than say pendles/selwood who plays 85% game time.

That's because he is the ultimate professional and above his competition. The best find a way.
He's still at the peak of his game if he had had a quieter season l would understand but he didn't. He was the best.. Again

I say the same thing about Pendles and Selwood thats why Ablett is out.

I have not looked at fixtures or byes or anything yet and won't til it opens with regards to my teams make up ...

But Pendles/Ablett >>>> Jelwood easily in my opinion ... At this stage I would strongly doubt I will be picking up Jelwood.

But selwoods best is no where near Ablett? Selwoods best season got him 118. Where is he going to improve enough to gain an extra 10ppg to match Ablett?

by maintaining his second half of the season for the whole year. plus the decline or gellongs mids has made him stand out and that should help with scaling.

its no suprsie that SJ and Selwood had career best years.

Ablett averaged 136 up until the last few rounds... He's priced at 129 and has a great run up until the byes
Jelwood also has a decent start and is a gun but still needs a big improvement to be on Ablett's level

I don't think he can maintain that number of goals he kicked though which was largely the reason behind is inflated scores in the second half of the season. 4 of his games in the back half of the year he kicked 4 goals twice and 3 goals twice which resulted in scores of 144, 160, 151 and 137. That's not sustainable for a midfielder. He's never done anything like that before

Oh haha you were too ... in that case I agree with your 100% he will not kick those goals :)

TeeJay

Yep. I think he will still average around 115-120 and is a great choice of premium mid. But at the expense of Ablett? No way. He's not on that level
