Verdict: One word, LOCK. Scott Pendlebury will be my first picked player for SuperCoach, in 2014. He is an absolute machine and continually pumps out huge scores. Pendlebury does not need to accumulate a lot of the ball to produce a big score, as he usually uses the ball very well and he very much suits the SuperCoach scoring system. Pendlebury always steps up in the big games, so you can always count on him for a big score and always a good option to put the big 'C' or 'VC' on. Pendlebury is super consistent, only scoring below 80 once since 2011, which is very good. I think Pendlebury will overtake Gary Ablett next year and become the best SuperCoach scorer in the comp. He wasn't far off the little master this year and he could become even better in 2014. Pendlebury is a star, taggers will not affect him and I think he is set for a very big year. Leave him out at your peril.

Start him and Ablett as M1 and M2 every year. No exceptions this year
