  There is no need for a rating system,, forum goers can work out on their own who the trolls are.
     
      As for what could be added, a way to acknowledge certain achievements i.e. Elxam League winners, FanFooty Group comp. highest rank, Elite league winners, XV comps winners etc.
       Maybe by giving them a special avatar or a symbol/trophy under their names.   Something that the coach keeps until the following season.

That sounds ok.
Also, m0nty why don't posts in the AFL board count? If they did count there would be probably be more people posting there.

Maybe an Avatar for say Top 100 DT/SC finish, Top 500, Top 1000, etc. That could give newbies an idea who has performed well in the comps previously.

I agree with KB, it's something special if somebody can actually make it to the 10k mark :). Nobody even knows when the next milestone is, I am assuming it'd be 20k :P. Could possibly make one at 5000 post mark if people really want to :P.

Maybe just a slight rearrangement of the names Master Coach at 5000,  Veteran Coach at 10000 and Coaching Legend at 150000 0r 20000.  or Veteran at 7500 and keeping Legend at 10000
