Board has been boring, thought i'd get one of these going

FB: Baguley, Carlisle, Fletch
HB: Dempsey, Hooker, Hibberd

FOL: Bellchambers, Heppell, Watson
MID: Goddard, Hocking, Stanton

HF: Myers, Hurley, Kommer
FF: Chapman, Daniher, Melksham

INT: Ryder, Winderlich, Howlett, Zaharakis

Emrg: Pears, O'Brien, Merret

This is just off the top of my head, and i'm sure that based on preseason form and new stratergies it will probs be different.

I can see Daniher playing mostly VFL for another season. Ryder/Bellchambers do a handy job rotating Ruck/Forward, especially Bell up forward. If all else fails, Carlisle can inject some life into the forward line if nothing else is working. We can bring Daniher up with time, still early days for him, and being a KPP, takes some more time and effort to get him ready for the bigger bodies in the AFL.

Only change I'd make is possibly Daniher out for Jackson Merrett, he played a small forward role to some effect. Think Kommer made a bigger impact but liked the potential I saw in Jackson.

I think we can safely say Daniher will play over half the games this H&A season.
As a combination of resting, injuries and playing a taller team.

I'll be interested to see if Will Hams gets a run. Didn't do anything in his two vested games but was named in the best for the last three VFL games of the year. Could be one to watch.

Needs to put on like 20kg, the kid has talent for sure and his tenacity is admirable, but it's difficult to put him on an AFL field if not just for fear of the kid being legitimately hurt.

I'm actually interested to see if we try anyone new/different up forward, just as an experiment.

Hardingham could come in and play a Jack Gunston type role but maybe a little but better?  ;)

I'm hoping we see some more games from Kavanagh, Browne, O'Brien, Colyer, Dalgleish and I think Edwards will be a handy player for us.

Where do guys like Cory Dell'Olio and Alex Browne sit in the team lads? Been on the list for a few years, haven't played heaps.

Dell'olio is on his last possible year as a rookie, but after they promoted his number just last week, you'd think that's promising. He has been playing relatively well in the reserves and personally I think he has that X-factor we need in our forward line.

Browne had a bit of injury last year I think, but he's in a boat with a lot of other third year players where this is his season to show he has it. Which is all this bracket of players

24   Browne, Alex 8   21yr 4mth   9 Aug 1992   188cm   86kg
25   Steinberg, Ariel (R) 0   21yr 3mth   26 Aug 1992   191cm   87kg
0   Thurlow, Fraser (R) 0   20yr 11mth   6 Jan 1993   199cm   100kg
20   Merrett, Jackson 14   20yr 9mth   27 Feb 1993   187cm   78kg
28   Kavanagh, Elliott 4   20yr 6mth   19 May 1993   187cm   80kg
36   Dalgleish, Lauchlan 3   20yr 5mth   22 Jun 1993   185cm   77kg
10   O'Brien, Nicholas 5   20yr 5mth   26 Jun 1993   188cm   92kg

Oh and I agree with the hardingham thing, I think I've said it before on these boards about him needing to be used up forward. Also would like to see Myers, Pears, Hooker all played around with down forward, whether it be AFL or VFL.

Has Hardingham fixed up his kicking in front of goal? Always liked him and his aerial ability, think they only shifted him back because of it combined with his lack of goal sense. Certainly can work well up forward if we need another target. Myers can kick a nice long goal, could be tried on HFF if needed.

Think Hooker is needed down back but Pears could be an interesting one. If he can't crack the team as a back, could experiment with him in the VFL as a forward! Would be nice to see how he goes there :P.

Kav I read a while back throughout the year has been used as a tagger in the VFL. Has done a decent job of it so could be brought up if Hocking goes down or we need a tagger. Think he was fighting with Kommer and Jackson for the small forward spot this season and was pushed out, which lead to him being used as a tagger to see him try to fight his way back in.

With the whole Hardingham can't kick straight, i'd prefer us actually having shots at goals, instead of it going into the fwrd50 a million times and not scoring.

Yeah, I know we need hooker down back, but i'd love to see him play a quarter up forward in a game we have in the bag. He reads the flight of the ball so well.

Kav got like 10 tackles in his last game in the VFL, here are his season dream team stats. I've got the rest of the team also if anyone wants it.
Elliot Kavanagh 134, 64, 102, 38, 66, 109, 93, 66, 70, 81, 107, 81, 68, 61, 93, average 82.2

Wouldn't have Fletch, Carlisle, Hurley, Hooker and Pears in the same team unless Hurls is a forward, I'd get in Myers for Pears, he should break out this year with a full pre-season.
