Does the team you support affect who you pick in your side?

Nope it doesn't at all.

Considering I follow the Magpies, you need the best of the best and Pendlebury, Swan, Heater, Beams etc are all in the top 6-8 in their position so everyone has them, and so do I.
Pendles is my favourite and is an auto selection every year so yeah, doesn't for me.

Yes.

Sam Michael, Hanley, Luey and Rocky all locked in for me, with Redden and Adcock and others possibly going to make an appearance in the team.
Even if Michael isn't named round one will you select him?  :P
Most probably  :-X

i started Watson and Hibberd this year Watson is an obvious choice i tipped Hibberd for a breakout year hence starting him if i didn't go for Essendon not sure if i would of had the balls so i'm not sure maybe yes and no

Only played a couple of years, but started with Cox this season and he was my first eagle I've ever put in my side. Later traded in JJK and Priddis as many others did. This year Nic Nat will likely be a lock, and also considering Waters and/or Hurn in the backline, try and not be bias towards my team though, I pick the best player possible.

No, never! Not my fault if the crows are the best available!

Generally, no and if you want to win you should try to be as unbiased as possible. Sometimes it is difficult though because many supporters (myself included) tend to see great potential in, and overrate, their own players. So, as part of my fantasy team selection process, I always ask friends to check my team specifically for this and then I have to justify any selections that seem biased toward my own team's players.

The_Captain

Yeah,, it makes me steer clear of those players. Because i cant watch them play properly without thinking of my DT :D

ubeaut

Yeah it can if u let it. But for me it's actually the opposite. I'm often too scared to pick Watson for example cos I think it'll curse him and then the whole team is affected as he's so important! But I rate him as top 3 mids in the comp!

In fact I've never started with him for this reason which is stupid. He always scores well and I wished I'd been a loyal supporter and picked him.

But if I do start him...
