Teams look alright, except Mitch Johnson and George Bailey are a bit stiff to miss out on the ODI team.

Would also think Clarkey should be captain of the test team.

For going winless 9 tests in a row and throwing up countless problems off field? Don't think so.

Teams look decent though. :) Would rather Ashwin over Swann however.

Amla really is one of the most underrated players in the world. Always goes about his business rarely has a bad game.

Interesting that Hussey plays only what, 3 or 4 test matches since the last team was announced and still makes it in.

Correct

Also holds the 3rd highest test partnership for the 3rd wicket with Kallis at an impressive 377 which happened in the same innings as his 311 not out

Interesting that Hussey plays only what, 3 or 4 test matches since the last team was announced and still makes it in.

In the 12 month period (7th August to 26th August) Huss scored 1559 runs at 71.  Of course he was going to make the team.

Ah I didn't know that's what the qualification period was. Assumed it was something like November to November.
