For the past few years many of the top DT midfielders have come from the Magpies and they have been a mainstay most successful teams. These players include: Swan, Pendlebury, Beams, Thomas, Sidebottom etc.

With an influx of new recruits over the past few years many of whom seem like future stars I'll ask the question how long can the Pies be at the top of the DT game?.

For as long as they stay in finals contention, their game plan shouldn't change too much so they will continue to be DT friendly.

I spose its a bit early to call but I reckon they will drop out of the eight this year, Buckley seems to be incompetent as a player manager and I reckon its time.

J.Thomas, Seedsman, Broomhead, Freeman, Kennedy...

These guys will pick up the slack from a team perspective and Collingwood's game plan seems pretty conducive to high DT numbers. I'm not sure how many of the above guys will actually make it to premium though.

Yep, Adams is good because he gets so many marks and tackles. In Round 22 he only had 23 disposals but add the 6 marks and six tackle and you've got a nice score of 111. If he can push his disposal numbers up to the mid 20's then watch out.

I should have mentioned Shaz too. He'll go alright.

Seedsman is going to be a flowering super player, as will Josh Thomas. Pies are set now and in the future.
