I added up my prices and the team value was $1,116,400. I'm not sure how I had $900 under $1,000,000 but anyway I brought in Dom Tyson at the expense of Dale Thomas

A.6

Defenders Walker, Thompson, Mitchell, McVeigh, Suckling, McDonald (Cutler, Fuller)
Midfielders Pendlebury, Selwood, Steven, Beams, J. Martin, Tyson, Beams, X. Ellis (Garlett, M. Crouch)
Rucks Naitanui, Sandilands (Brown, Lobb)
Forwards Dangerfield, Martin, Gunston, Clark, Hogan, Fasolo (Kersten, Markworth)

Like the pick of Gunstan tbh, tossing him around myself instead of Pav.

Nice Team FS

No comments on rookies just to select those that are playing eg doubt Cutler will be playing Round 1.

Def: Very Strong perhaps too strong. Not a fan of Walker this year as with the blues additions especially Thomas can not see him drifting forward like he did last year which helped his SC scoring My opinion though.  Look at downgrading him to Bircill, Adcock, Swallow or Hurn still maintaining a reasonable structure.
Mids: Would have preferred retaining Thomas there if you could as it will give you a better structure, 4 prems plus mid pricer, You have to play 4 rookies/low priced players each week which is a risk imo.
Rucks; Standard
Fwds: Solid. Although I think Hogan is overpriced for what he will return so you may be able to downgrade to a lower priced rookie

So suggestions
Walker to Birchill Hurn Adcock Swallow
Hogan to a rookie
And then reinstate Thomas if you have enough cash by upgrading Tyson

Def: Plenty of Depth here which can cause other areas of your team to be weak.
Mids:I think 4 rookies is 1 too many which makes you mids a little weak so one of those 4 starting mids needs to be upgraded.
Rucks:Pretty Much same as everybody else
Fwds: Solid although you could downgrade Hogan to a rookie who is ready to go in round 1

Overall decent team which needs just a few alterations to strengthen the mids maybe upgrade Tyson to Thomas,Downgrade Walker to either Birchall or Hurn. 7.5/10

Just a few changes. I downgraded my backline so that I have a strong midfield. Changed a few rookies as well.

Bye structure of 10-9-11

Oricle

nice pods in gunston, griffen, steven and thompson. good all round team. really good man!

The only player i am not sure that will get games early on is Markworth so you are better off trying to get Lennon or another Rookie who will start in Round 1 without wearing the Vest.
As long as those 2 rookies in defence score high enough then you have saved money and done well overwise you will lose points
Mids: Strengthening your midfield has giving you more chance of matching with the best as long as you pick the right premiums
Rucks: Taking a Risk by going with these 2  but i leave that up to you
Fwds: The first 4 seem to be set the other 2 will be decided by the NAB CUP matches i wouldn't rely on Markworth though.

Overall: You have done well in that the new version has improved slightly i would give it an 8/10

firstly just wasteful having dangerfield in the mids swing him forward now

get rid of the fringe players in rohan and fasolo

i like jack steven is a jet - tag worries me

dont mind dixon there also dont mind the gunston pick u have in other team

Fasolo easily in pies beat 22 mate, keep him there! He was in as soon as he was 100% fit and then got injured... if he plays he is a must have at that price.

I think when you are selection your team, pick your rookies the ones you want and then the best scorer in each position in your opinion (2 in your mids and base your team around those players..

DEF - i personally dont like playing 2 rookie DEFs weekly, McVeigh/Mitchell will be the best 2 DEF come years end. Thommo is a good choice though i think you can get a similar output for cheaper. Swallow to improve with more mid time.

MID - Pendles is a freak, Griffen is a solid choice, Jobe/Beams/Steven should improve, better to start with JMart and to downgrade than finding an extra 100K and upgrading.

RUC - good, Nic Nat/Sandi are bargains, i think both should improve.

FWD - hmmm, slightly underdone. i think gunston will improve with no buddy & roughie getting the #1 tag, 3 premos + clarke + 2 rookies bit weak. Dusty playing DEF now
