NXT is aiming for that "japanese flavor" which is why Asuka and Shinske stayed

The way the draft played out had me scratching my head in spots, excited to see how each show goes though...

Hellopplz

Raw really does look like the #1 show with those draft picks. Smackdown may be decent to revive a few people's careers and give them a chance to shine again (Bray, Dolph, Kalisto, Zack Ryder, etc).

Going to be interesting how the dynamics work again but wise Smackdown got another 1-2 decent names on there like Cesaro, Neville or even Sheamus.

Also, apparently the Cruiseweight Title/Division is coming back to Raw :o. What makes Smackdown special now? :-X

Have not watched WWE in many months now, but just read that a bunch of previous guys are coming back

Shelton Benjamin, Jinder Mahal and Curt Hawkins are returning, and guys like Carlito and MVP have been contacted too

Thats great, Raw and Smackdown were good this week, Smackdown is being shot with a crane camera, pretty trick 8)

RiOtChEsS

Lesnar straight up rolled Orton today an fans are claiming he went rogue, it was a work, props to Randy for eating an elbow tho 8)

Bill Manspeaker

haha it was definitely planned. 95% of his shots didn't even hit Orton. and there was a 5-10 second period where he only hit his shoulder

fast forwarded through pretty much the whole show again. I dunno why I bother. doesn't appeal to me any more but it's like I always watch it (well when I say watch I really mean fast forward through it). all the wrestlers are shower. I like Roman. he's about the only actual big muscly dude. desperately needs a character change

Bill Manspeaker

but you know the worst thing about the WWE these days? the flowerin camera work

it's they wanna make it look more... I dunno how to explain it. impactful? like the shots are massive. when a wrestler's about to do a move or punch or anything, they'll zoom the camera in and out really fast and shake it

it's unbareable when you have one guy on another throwing punch after punch (that come nowhere near landing) and the camera is zooming in and out

oh it's flowerin painful. WWE used to be so good. they flowered it. it makes me angry. why do they have to appeal to kids? are there not enough kid shows on tv?

I dont mind that they are trying to give it a different visual impact, they keep missing moves which im guessing is because the cameramen need a bit more experience, the replays generally show it but you want to be able to roam within the framing and find it yourself still.

Jericho actually had a crack at Brock because the creative team kept it under wraps that the elbow was scripted, there was a backstage brodown and Lesnar told him to throw a punch or kiss him :D moments later Randy appeared behind the curtain and confirmed it was a work and not a shoot.

I too find the PG era very frustrating, instead of a brand split i wish they would have developed an "adult show" a show where guys like Bray Wyatt can actually be utilized to his full potential, his career is caught between a rock and a hard place, the WWE understand his market value and want to keep him but dont know how to push him in the PG era, if he signed with TNA or ROH he would be the top guy and they would absolutely hand him the keys to run wild, WWE know that so they keep him, but also lock him in cupboard, nearly 2 years now and not a single title push, even Harper was IC champ ffs.

an awesome interview with Stone Cold. best wrestler in history

RaisyDaisy

Haven't watched WWE for quite some time now but still read the dirt sheets from time to time to stay in touch

Been rumoured for years, but finally GOLDBERG returns next week to challenge Lesnar.

Might have to record it and see that!
