Since it's not looking like I'll be doing much in the near future between high school and uni, this thread is open for business. You may remember this thread from 2012, which totalled 15 pages and 215 posts between December 12th and January 18th. My team is also available for your critique here, and I'd appreciate your thoughts. Don't just post your team in here every week and not help me out at all!

For those who are new, this is the format I review teams in:
Section One: Likes
Here I post what I like about the team- structure, players, uniqueness, etc.

Section Two: Dislikes
Like the first section, but I post dislikes about the team. See: Gary Ablett Jr.

Section Three: Position Ratings
Score out of 10 for each position, and a quick thought about the line if necessary.

Section Four: Overall Team Rating and Overall Thoughts
Not necessarily an average of the position ratings. Just an overall strength rating and a thought on the team.

Just post your team and I'll get back to you as soon as I can! Might be fast, might be slow, depends, but I will get around to it next time I'm on my computer.

Guide to Getting a Good Rating
Include: Stanton, Chapman, Hogan, J. Martin, Watson, Seedsman and Docherty.
Exclude: Ablett, Swan, McIntosh and Sandilands.

Question: If I post a SC team here (since I'm not a DT guy), will you rate it, supply feedback and/or analyse it?

Chappy! going to be a great unique M/F pick imo, could top the 100 average yet is pretty cheap. Along with him, a very nice forward line.
Stants ofc :P
Solid selection of rooks, can't argue with any except Apeness (behind Clarke, Griffen, Sandi and Moller at Freo- would prefer McBean or Nankervis) and Sheed (you can afford Aish in a Brisbane midfield who has lost a lot of quality players).
Can't fault your structure at all, except maybe I'd be looking at playing Hogan at forward 6, he's an absolute gun and I reckon he could go 80+ this season...maybe even higher!

Dislikes
Not a fan of a few of your premos/mid-pricers: Swan will almost definitely drop average and if you're a value-whore like me it's totally unacceptable (I want everybody to increase in average haha), while Waters and HamMac are very injury-prone, which despite their price tags I'd look for other options.
Covered a couple of small gripes such as Ape/McBean+Sheed/Aish and no Hoges on field.

Suggestions
Although I'm not a fan of Swan, not going to suggest moving him on because I know you won't :P
Apeness to McBean or Nankervis
Sheed to Aish (not really necessary if you <3 Sheed, he's still a solid selection)
Waters to Docherty OR Swan to somebody like Cotch/Murph then Waters to a gun like Heppell

Ratings
D: 8.3/10
M: 8.6/10
R: 7.3/10
F: 9.5/10
Overall: 8.28/10 pretty solid

Lots of uniques- Howard (meh), Docherty (great), Steven (good), Anthony (meh), Higgins (good), Wellingham (goodish). Note: meh doesn't mean bad, just not good enough to get into my team!
That backline, if it all goes to plan, stands to gain a LOT of money through Stanley, Waters, Suckling, Howard and Docherty as solid mid-pricers.
Very nice ruck line, cheap but probably effective.

Dislikes
Ablett :3
Again, a couple of ruck rookie gripes- don't think Lobb will get games behind Mumford and Giles unless one of them gets injured (in that case, jump on!) and Currie behind Goldy and Daw.
Putting Steven as your first mid to make me think you're going super cheap in there :P

Suggestions
Ablett to somebody good! :P not a fan of Cotch or Murphy?
Lobb to McBean or Nankervis

M: 8.5/10

Great midfield. Can't fault any selections, despite being not a fan of Tyson and Polec.
Mitch Clark- could get attention off him from the great Hogan, could be in for a good year and solid price rise if stays fit.
No real spud premos

Dislikes
I'd prefer Aish or Kelly or Billings to Polec. Aish in a Brisbane midfield that has lost Black, Docherty, Polec, etc but still has Rocky and Redden to take the tag should go good imo.
I'd also probably lean towards a bomber backman (Goddard or Heppell or, if looking for a possible edge on the competition, Hibberd).
Longer a bit expensive for a bench ruck imo

Suggestions
One path that could be taken is Longer to Nankervis into Karnezis to a star.
