Vinny

Haha yeah, I'm like 2k short man. :(

Bully

McDonough for Fasolo and bank the cash for a Caddy upgrade next week.

Ringo

Would prefer to see Fasola this week and then look at his B/e. You could go McDonough to Lewis Taylor. Taylor's price has only increased to $133k due to sub in first game.  Has a negative B/e again this week so will immediately make cash for you and with Brisbane's Injury problems can see him in Brisbane's best 22 for a few more weeks. Taylor also has a DPP which may be handy down the track for upgrading etc.  Your choice though,

Thanks man, was considering that. Might give Caddy a couple weeks and hope he increases more so I can get say a Parker/Rioli.

Cheers Ringo. I'd get Taylor but will he be alright to play at F6? He scored 65 and 45 unsubbed, will he just keep scoring that or improve to solid 65s each week? My main goal here is to field more than Rohan's spud 20-45. In the long run would it not be better to go Fasolo for scoring ability and just wait a week. Or are you suggesting getting Taylor for McDonough AND Fasolo for Rohan?

Ringo

hard to say on that one Vinny.  Would have to go with gur.  It would depend on how Taylor is used by us.  Will he be used in that small forward role to give Zorko midfield time or will he be used down the wings as he has been in the last two games.
Personally not convinced on Fasolo in Pies best 22 but in saying that have been getting smashed so may be.  Watch and see.
So basically it will boil down to who do you think will score the best for the next 4 - 6 weeks and who will make the most cash to allow upgrade if that is what you are looking for as your F6.

Vinny

Yeah thanks Ringo, it's tough. I'll decide when team sheets come out. If McDonough is named I'll hold if not Fasolo or Rohan come in.

Vinny

Okay, seeing McDonough and McCarthy were both not named, I am deciding to go McDonough to Taylor.

Taylor can play at F6 and I can loophole him with Rohan using McCarthy. Hoping for a 65+

Next week I can go Rohan to Fasolo and Caddy to Rioli or someone similar which is extremely tempting.

Blue Boys - UPDATE

Recap: Pretty good week compared to some, managed to avoid all the carnage pretty much. Only real spuds, Daisy, Tyson, Langdon and Rohan had to be copped for Caddy.

Round 1 Rank: 11,921 (2,237)
Round 2 Rank: 55,001 (1,917)
Round 3 Rank: 34,819 (2,277)
Round 4 Rank: 16,210 (2223)

Climbing steadily which is a good sign and have no rucks and that to deal with.

The Team after Round 4:

Mitchell, Simpson, Jaensch, Suckling, McDonald, Langdon. (Langford, Georgiou)
Ablett, Pendles, Rockliff, Beams, DThomas, MThomas, Tyson, Polec. (Dunstan, Ellis)
Goldy, Sandilands. (Currie, King)
Dangerfield, Martin, Roughead, Caddy, Higgins, Taylor. (McCarthy, Rohan.)

Cash:$192,900 - Trades Left: 27

Proposed Trades:
In bold are my real problems IMO: Caddy, Daisy & Rohan.

The moves I am looking at are:
1) Rohan to Fasolo
2) Caddy to Pavlich

Then next week, I can go: Daisy to Lloyd VIA Taylor and use the 257k to upgrade anyone anywhere. Probably one of the boys in defence to prepare for the Round 8 bye better.

Thoughts appreciated. :)

Classic vinnamon.

Rohan-->Fasolo = Good
Caddy-->Pav = Not sure

How much cash do you have after trading out Caddy?

felsty

Like the Pavlich upgrade! Should end up with a 100+ average from here on out and cheap as he is going to get

Vinny

Haha thanks guys.

Dave, reasoning for Pav is that he will be a top forward, this is as cheap as he is going to get. Guys like NRoo will eventually come down in price.

Plus it allows me to do, Daisy to Lloyd & Langdon to Hibberd next week.

Watson comes in the week after for Matt Thomas.

Then next week: Dunstan to Griffen & MThomas to Watson/Hallahan.

I am trying to be aggressive and don't mind burning through trades.

Feedback would be awesome. Drop a link to your team and I'll chuck a rate back!

Ringo

Will be the most popular trades this week Vin so no reason why you should not enjoy the cash grab as well.

good trade thoughts.
i dont mind the aggressive tactic as long as you finish your team before you finish your trades.
