Good first draft Vin, structure is solid.
No offence meant but i find it funny that GoLions tried to talk you out of Hibbo because he won't finish top 6 (I don't think he will) but then suggests Gunston as a forward. Big punt to suggest he will finish top 6.
Hard to predict who will finish top 6-8 in each position until DPPs are confirmed. Midfielders who can be used back or forward should score the best of course. Guys like Bartel, Walker, McVeigh, Mitchell, Rocky, DMartin. Ruck/Forwards like Cox and Nic Nat can score well too.
I'm working on a team with that in mind at the moment but may need to wait for SC to open. Hopefully only about 3 weeks away.
I'm sure our teams will be way different come round 1, but hey we're having fun!
Best of luck Bud!
I never said that, that was wato. This is what I said:

I think the ONLY change I would personally make, would be to swap Buddy for another forward (possibly Gunston), but that's just me. Reckon you've just about nailed it Vinnamon :D
Maybe Hibberd to Scotty Thompson or Hanley (if he keeps DPP)

Would probably give it a 9.75/10
Not taking anything away from Hibberd, think he'll go really well next year.

I also never said Gunston would finish top 6, however I think he has potential to do better than Buddy, and I have him in my team myself.
Ha shower sorry mate, not seeing straight. Must be bed time for me!

Hahaha no worries mate, all good  :)

Sabretooth Tigers

 :) :)
Nice team Vinney. You didn't say how much you had left. I'd stick with Hibberd too. The only change I'd suggest is Buddy out and Christensen in. Best of luck and cheers mate   ;) ;)

Vinny

Thanks mate, yeah I probably won't star Buddy, just a matter of who to get instead. :)

Blue Boys - UPDATE

So:

Okay, so I am going to make a few changes to the team. Buddy is coming out for Motlop and I will change a few of the rookies. Will add it to the OP and also list the bye structure for my team. :)

Changes:

Buddy > Motlop
Aish > Sheed
Thorp >  Kersten (Not confirmed, just changed because Thorp did not get picked up.) :(
Garlett > Sheed

New team:

D- Jared McVeigh, Kade Simpson, Michael Hibberd, Grant Birchall, Matt Suckling, Matt Scharenberg.
     Luke McDonald, Kade Kolodjashnij.
M- Joel Selwood,Scott Pendlebury, Jobe Watson, Tom Rockliff, Dayne Beams, Dom Tyson, James Aish, Luke Dunstan.
     Jack Martin, Dom Sheed.
R- Todd Goldstein, Nicholas Naitanui
     Toby Nankervis, Liam McBean.
F- Matthew Pavlich, Steve Motlop, Dale Thomas, Dustin Martin, Shuan Higgins, Viv Michie.
    Jesse Hogan, Shane Kersten.

Round 8: Selwood, Pendlebury, Beams, Goldy, Motlop, Dusty, Scharenberg, McDonald, KK, JMartin, McBean, Kersten.
Round 9: Simpson, Birchall, Suckling, Tyson, Sheed, Higgins, Naitanui, Thomas.
Round 10:
McVeigh, Hibberd, Pavlich, Michie, Hogan, Nankervis, Watson, Rocky, Aish, Dunstan.

So my bye structure is: 11 - 8 - 10

Ringo

Nice Team Vinny -

Def: Do not think Scharenberg will get early games but keep an eye on. Like the defence with relying on one rookie only each week. Like the pick of Simpson and Suckling should generate cash if he is that price.
Mids - No argument here - Martin and Sheed imo are walk up starts so no worries with rookies.
Rucks: Set and forget If Nat keeps DPP may be worth looking at another ruck and moving him forawrd but not necessary,
Fwds, Nice choices here Higgins will be in most teams if he is that price as he will need to play only 7/10 games to generate a strong cash improvement. Kersten I think will get opportunities at Geelong this year with the departure of Pods,

Vinny

Thanks mate, yeah even though I said I don't care about rookies, they look okay. Yeah if Schaz isn't playing, I shall trade him out. I doubt I'll have the cash but if I do, maybe to Waters but not sure. Would even out my byes a little aswell. Again, cheers Ringo. :)

Great Team Vinny

Def: I agree with Ringo regarding Scharenberg think Seedsman & Williams are ahead of him.Bring L.Mcdonald onto the field if you still want Scharenberg just leave him on your bench otherwise replace with Zac Jones
Mids: Excellent wouldn't change anything.
Rucks: Two Strong Rucks Nic Nat should be back to his best and injury free.
Fwds: Good Fwd line Motlop should improve even more this year.

Think you have made the right changes just need to find a replacement for Scharenberg unless the Magpies have some injuries over the Preseason to there Backs. Rate your team an 8.5/10

Vinny

Thanks Johnny. Yeah looks like I need to find a replacement, yeah Zak Jones will do for now but I'll just wait until Round 1 to decide on rookie picks. :)

tor01doc

I agree with what whatsisname said about Missy - 7 or so games - should get them by mid 2016 you'd reckon!  ;)

Vinny

Haha just saw this, I just need him to stay on the park until the byes. :)

So my bye structure is: 12 - 9 - 9

Ringo

Nice Team Vinny

McBean is a forward only in case you did not pick that up so need another rookie ruck.
Have you factored in that Hogan and martin may be around $210k (That is my estimate so may be more).

Considering myself whether I can fit Daisy in the mids but dependent on final prices.

This year Vinny with the byes being early I am looking at what rookies or mid priced cash cows have Round 10 byes and working that into the equation. Also with them early you need them to be playing from Round 1 for maximum gain if trading during byes.

Premiums sound but see if you can get a little more balanced bye structure, Basically in Round 8 you are currently relying on all remaining players playing on the field.

Vinny

Thanks Ringo!

Yeah I need to sort out the bye structure. But it is difficult, hoping JMart and Hogan aren't at premium price tag. :-[
Would make things even more difficult, haha. I have found a way to get Daisy and stuff in as long as rookie prices aren't inflated.

Will post it up in a second. :)
