#6 Joe Daniher - Essendon Bombers

Requested by kilbluff1985

Name: Joe Daniher
Age: 19 years, 8 months
Team: Essendon
Position: Forward
Bye: Round 10

2013 Low: 17 (red vest), 32
2013 High: 98
2013 Average: 50.6
2013 unsubbed average: 59
2013 Pre-Bye Average: 76.5
2013 Post-Bye Average: 33.3

Fanplanner Price: $270,700

Predicted average: 65-70ppg

Verdict: Big Joe should have a big 2nd season, i'd expect him to play between 15-20 games. Still won't be quite big enough to compete with the best defenders so shouldn't be fantasy relevant this year. There are far better options around that price range or cheaper. Stay Away

Youre a machine speck. 8)

Not for me though, next year is ther year he comes under consideration for every serious SCer.

Nice write up Speck.

I think its a wait and see rather than a no. With the limitations now on the nujmber of interchanges in games, I can see clubs going for more mobile ruckmen who can play forward and Forwards that can pitch hit in the ruck.

Next year i can see almost every ruckman being DPP

Hope he can kick 30+ goals for us next year

We just traded Crameri (idiots) and Gumbleton. Hurley is always injured. Ryders up and down. We will need him big time. Too expensive in SC but hope he does well.

It's not so much we traded him but that he walked out on us and we took whatever compensation we could get.

I think Joe has a while to go yet before he's fantasy relevant, Patton seems a more appealing prospect.

Ok we should have tried harder to keep either him or Gumby, who we put so much work into. Once Hurley goes down (which he always does) there is now a huge hole in attack.

they would have just quit and entered the pre season draft they wanted to leave nothing was stopping them

Sabretooth Tigers

It wiil be interesting to see how Bomber uses him with Crameri and Gumby gone. Will keep a close look during  pre-season.

I think Bomber likes the idea of playing Carlisle up forward. Hurley/Hooker/Pears can hold down defense, and Carlisle with the resting ruck can handle the KPF duties. Joe isn't a lock in the 22 by any means.

Yeah we'll have to play Carlisle forward sometimes. Pears needs form and Hurley must be fit for that. Daniher will play most games IMO.

They ruined carlisles season by chopping and changing him. He was in AA form down back at the first half of the season. Leave him down there!

How Is 30+ dreaming? 29.25 in the VFL out of 12 games, that's 4.5 shots at goal a game. If he averages half that at AFL level with twice as many games, I don't see how 30 goals is a stretch... If he adds bulk, fitness, and practices his set shots over the preseason, sky's the limit.

Admittedly though not supercoach relevant, despite what the romantic in me says.
