This fantasy big bash has been a joke. What kind of fantasy system allows you to trade players whilst that gameweek is going. There is a captain loophole every game.. May as well just award the person who sits on his computer the longest the number 1 ranking..

Ok with Hughes out I'm thinking of going Hughes --> B. Hodge @ $53,100. But then I can't use the captain loophole since all my players will be playing, and with no double GW this week choosing a captain might be difficult.

BAT: M. Hussey, T. Birt, A. Hales, D. Hussey (P. Hughes)
ALR: M. Marsh, M. Henriques (S. Malik)
WKP: C. Kieswetter (P. Nevill)
BWL: B. Hogg, J. Hazlewood, D. Nannes, K. Richardson (N. Rimmington)

$14,100 left in the bank. Any thoughts?
I am probably not trading till after the Hurricanes Heat Game.  I will be putting the VC on one of players in the first 2 games and then work out trades and c emergencies after that. In your case you could keep Hughes on the field to work the loop hole if need be.

Just realised I can't use the loophole anyway since Hughes will be locked in tonight.

Ringo

You can play him on the field though and then work your emergencies and VC around him. eg Make Birt VC and if after tomorrows game he has high score then put C on Hughes but if not yoiu have the other options to put C on as well.

Bear in mind you only have to make final 4 and then you have unlimited trades for semifinals and finals.

Actually, just take notice that Steve Smith might not play, as if he has been called into the ODI squad, they play in Adelaide on the 25th, and Sydney play in Sydney on the 25th.
Would it be wise to use one trade on Smith now then? And save the other for later?

I am waiting on Smith as his team does not play till the 3rd match.  So he can sit for loophole and if not required trade then.

Yep, I'd definitely hold for tonight, as, should Hales fire, Smith can be your loophole man allowing you to make a trade elsewhere. :)

But Hughes plays for the Strikers who are playing tonight, so won't he be locked in (can't put the C on him) tonight?

Anyway, I won't be trading tonight. Just need to work out if I should give Hales the VC.

Ringo

Sorry Ad you are right - Had in mind he played for one of the Sydney Teams sorry.  So maybe trade him if you need a secure batting line up.

LEAGUE IS ONLY FOR THE 8 ROUNDS

THERE ARE NO FINALS/SEMI FINALS for league purposes. Only for overall ranking. For those of you who care about leagues. Sounds like you're talking about final 4 for league Ringo

There are league finals aren't there?

I think this is how I'll have my team lineup tonight.

Thoughts? Should I be making any trades before match 1?

I figure if I put all my strikers/gades on the bench if they FIRE I'll trade in a non-playing player for the worst on field player left.

However if they go shower I can keep that dodgy player or upgrade him to the best player still available. Thoughts? Big issues is if all 4 fire I might not be able to get them all playing

Will Wade be playing this week? Should I be trading in a better Keeper if he isn't? IDK

You could perhaps try VC loopholing one if you have confidence in them Nails. :)

Well that sucks then. Why couldn't they do league finals? It would fit in perfectly with the actual game's format. ::)
