Bird or (ba)Nannes.  :P

Dirk looked pretty good the other night and I think he is building. T20 cricket is such a fickle thing. I'd maybe even oust Bird just on the basis his had two good games........  :o

I'm holding the Birdman for his price rise :D

KoopKicka

Also have Cutting but he should bounce back shouldnt he?

One other question when are Sydney Sixers players locked out for this round tonight or on Jan 1st, Looking at working Captain loophole with Finch so if he score big tonight need an emergency not playing and North fits the bill,

Anyone? ???

PowerBug

Check the FAQ? How is it done in SC?

Already done that PB and does not mention it in FAQ's

In SC players with byes were locked at at conclusion of the rolling lock out for the last game so hoping this rule is the same for BBL.

Sydney Sixers have the bye for this round finishing Han 1st and Hobart Hurricanes have bye in round 4 from 2nd to 5th January

This may help Q

Is it worth trading out Maddinson to someone like a Klinger and then getting him back in next week when the Sixers play twice, or should I take Katich's score from the bench?

Also does Nevill get a spot on the field over Kieswetter?

Nev has the double GW, I'd stick with him.

Rotating my wk has worked well so far so yep, will be starting Nevvy. Should get a couple of catches and at least one solid innings in this week.

I am going to take the 'risk' and make North my captain with Finch VC. One of two things will happen.

1) North is locked out from the start, White will come on and replace him in my batting lineup and Finch will be my Captain.
2) North is locked out at the end, White will come on and replace him in my batting lineup and I will be able to look at how Finch goes first up and make a decision on my C thereafter :)

Nothing to lose, right?

Windigo

I'd just go Finch. He can very easily get a 30 & 10-20 nek game + throw in a catch or 2.

With double games I'd just play it safe....

Master Q

Any notable Renegades batsmen to trade in besides Finch (Doolan is out yeah?)

I have a spare trade, Hopes -> M.Marsh is my first one

I think I'll go Finch VC and if he does well bring on Silk.

PowerBug

That's right. Also, should Finch fail twice, you can then make Luke Wright your captain. :)

Birt, Finch x2, Doolan, Katich (Bopara)
Woakes, Wright (Hastings)
Kieswetter (Hartley)
Rimmington x2 (vc), Sheridan x2, Mendis (c), Cutting (McKay)

Doolan is playing tonight but will likely miss the next match as it is 2 days before the 5th test. I have three others which play twice, Sheridan does ok, bats at 7, and you don't lose points for bowling sh!te, so when he goes 2/50 I'll get 40 points from him. :P Got the C on Mendis as I get to see Rimmington twice before choosing my captain, if he does well (liekly), then I'll just move the C to Woakes who's done. :)

Sounds easy, now watch everyone fail :P
