I had mundy this season and it wasn't worth it.
A player going up from 92 to 100 is not really a win in ur midfield. Its not a breakout.
Par for murph is 105 which he should do.
At the same time rockliff could go from 108 to 118 and that's a win.
U don't wanna end up with a player in ur team come finals who isn't in the top 8-10 in their position.
if u feel murphy will, which he possibly could then go for it. a lot of us however do not.

This is it, mundy was a thorn in my side and wasted one of my valuable trades towards the end of the season. I'm only picking top 10 mids and rookies. Murphy isn't one of them so he is getting a valuable starting spot in my midfield.

I will get my value in the forward line where spots aren't as valuable.

Agree with cortez has been harshly judged of late he has a bad run with some injuries , took over as captain , a new coach and game plan to contend with . I think you will see a very competitive side under Malthouse this year with some players that improve greatly Murphy one of them and with the lack of round 9 guns is in my team , plus he is cheap  ;)

Agree with this for the most part. Then I still think guys like Griffen, Cotchin, montagna, jack etc will score more than Murphy

Yeah most of those guys will probably score more but if Murphy breaks the tag, he can be a top 4 in the comp. He is in the exact same situation as Cotchin, Cotch does just as bad with a tag. But he kills it when Lids gets it. They are in the same boat I think.

Libba & Steven will struggle Intially when they cop the tag soon too.

Won't be looking at Murphy as a cash cow but as a cheap keeper that has good potential for very good scores all season.
