retirement village?

Our team is the most durable in the competition champ. Dean Cox - hasn't missed a game in 4 seasons.
Dane Swan - like gun
Montagna - hasn't played less than 20 games since 2006
Bartel - hasn't played less than 19 games since 2004
Enright - hasn't played less than 20 games since 2005
Murphy - 18+ games last 4 seasons
Dal Santo - hasn't played less than 21 games since 2003

There are just a few

Our team may be old, but it's built around durability.

Ahh, so your players get 1-2 week niggling injuries and rests instead of freak serious ones, noice :P And you can't be using those stats way back to 2005. Thats when those players were young and in their prime! The only thing that matters for your veterans is the future.

Oh, and don't call me champ, champ ;)

You realise on average young players get injured more? Their bodies aren't used to the rigours of AFL

Look at players like Jack Grimes, Higgins etc.

Haha picks out the two most injury prone players in the AFL, qualityyyyyyy. Old bodies needs resting and these players are on the decline.

It's a fact that younger and middle aged players are more injury prone. Look at the stats.

Injury prone old players retire. People have hope for injury prone young players.

it's probably more that the really injury prone players don't make it past a certain point in their career unless they can get acclimitised, think of it as like a parabolic curve :P

Young players                                                                                                                                     old players

Nice to see that the top 4 is what I thought it'd be without even doing any real research. I'm surprised how close 5th and 6th are in your predictions though, I was more thinking that the top 4 had a bit of a gap on the rest (and kinda that the top 2 had a gap on 3 and 4).

I think we're every chance to win but, using a topical analogy, I'd say we're like the Andy Murray trying to get through Djokovic and Nadal. We can definitely win the title, but those two are dead set favourites and deserve to be so.

Hmmm, can we be Federer then?

I guess so. Except I'm not sure how I feel about you beating us in the Australian Open...

I was trying to think of a ridiculously cocky player who was savaged by injuries in 2013. I don't think the Fed-Express really fits the bill there :P Maybe Tsonga? Top bloke with that crucial hint of arrogance and was forced to pull out of Wimbledon and miss the US with injury late in 2013.

Yep, we'll be him ;)

Why can't we be Federer? Murray is lame :(

Justin Bieber

Iceland would probably be Gael Monfils. Exciting and has the ability to get up on the day, but can't compete with the top dogs consistently :(.

Scrads

Keep the tram ratings coming Zip :P

Top 3 ruck developments in the game. Gawn is a spud. Longer isn't much better and who's Redden?

I was thinking because Murray is perennially underrated too. Fed is always given hype.

JBs-Hawks

How do the Lions go backwards, no retirments and another year to all of our youngsters? Lol stupid prediction.
