With both Dunstan and Griffiths not being named this week -

Thinking these trades Griffiths > Cutler and Dunstan > Montagna.

Then next week look at MacDonald, Tyson and others for upgrades and downgrades based on predicted Break evens.

Ended up doing Dunstan to Ebert due to the number of Round 10 bye players I would have had 14.
Do not think I will lose much.

Big decision to be made is do I trade Langdon next week or keep after his bye.  Have the cpacity to do so may do as he will more than likely make some more cash and assist with my Round 10 bye dilema.

Donnie Brasco

Nice one Ringo, love Ebert!

How good has Langdon been?

Ringo

Been good was going to do the Langdon/McDonald downgrade upgrade next week but may reconsider, May not even trade either as my bye structure atm is 10/7/13.  So can field 18 each week through the byes pending injury or outs.

Round 3 Score 2250  Overall Ranking 39897
Round 2 Score 1917 Overall Ranking 56337
Round 1 Score 2231 Overall Ranking 13274

Very Happy with the score and the movement up the ladder.  Slowly getting to where I wnat to be.
Trades:
Griffiths to Cutler
Dunstan to Ebert
(Should have said stuff the byes and taken Montagna who was first choice).

Team for Round 7 -
DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Mitchell, K. Simpson, M. Suckling, L. McDonald, T. Cutler (A. Georgiou, T. Langdon)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, R. Sloane, D. Beams, D. Tyson, J. Polec, B Ebert,  J. Aish (M. Crouch, N Robertson.)
RUC: D. Cox, A. Sandilands (T. Derickx, F. Thurlow)
FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, L. Parker, D. Zorko, S. Higgins,  A Fasolo (S. Lloyd , J. Kennedy-Harris)

The Good - Firing prems McVeigh, Simpson, Ablett, Beams, Sloan, Rockliff, Sandilands, Dangerfield, Parker.
                  Midpricers Suckling and Higgins
Rookies - Langdon, JKH, Polec, Tyson,
The Bad - Martin, Aish and Cutler
The Ugly - Ebert after trading in - Mitchell, Zorko very below par,

Awaiting report on Mitchell before trading this week and also break evens.

But probably getting in a prem defender or mid prem.  If Break evens are low then may not trade as I can field team.

OK so Mitchell out this week

So trades for this week

Mitchell > Burgoyne
MacDonald > Hurn
Crouch > O'Rourke

Round 9 Trades
Robertson > Acres
Polec/Tyson > Pendlebury
Cutler/Georgiou > Rookie

Round 10
Aish> Rookie
Polec/Tyson > Prem or maybe even keep Polec an extra week.
Fasolo > Pavlich

Leaving Team as
DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Hurn, K. Simpson,  S. Burgoyne, M. Suckling, T. Langdon (A. Georgiou, Rookie  )
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, R. Sloane, D. Beams, Prem/Polec , S. Pendlebury, B Ebert,  Rookie (B Acres, J O'Rourke.)
RUC: D. Cox, A. Sandilands (T. Derickx, F. Thurlow)
FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, L. Parker, D. Zorko, M Pavlich, S. Higgins  (S. Lloyd , J. Kennedy-Harris)

There are a number of Rookies coming through in mids to consider as required.  For prem mid it will be decided on form at the time and cash generated but hoping for one of Montagna, Jelwood or Watson.

12 Trades left for four upgrades, but as we know plans can get thrown out the window with injuries.

Thoughts

Vinny

The plan looks good Ringo, unless injuries come up, you'll be in a good position through and after the byes.

I'd grab Acres, instead of O'Rourke this week and then Hartung next week for Robertson.

Everything else looks great. Hurn still has a high BE but McDonald needs to go so that is fine.

Ringo

Hurn's B/e is high as a result of the 7 when he was injured in Round 2 - Could wait a week but then may lose cash overall.

Also considering Hartung and Hallahan this week instead O'Rourke.

Vinny

Yeah I know man, I copped that on the field too haha. Hurn will score well but won't go that big but yeah do the trade was just checking you were aware of the BE which you were.

Check out my thread too if you got time ;)

Round 8 Results

Round 8 Score 1865 Weekly Ranking 1989 Overall Ranking 1423

Previous Rounds
Round 7 Score 2366 Overall Ranking 5602
Round 6 Score 2172 Overall Ranking 11462
Round 5 Score 2292 Overall Ranking 13559
Round 4 Score 2198 Overall Ranking 22063
Round 3 Score 2250  Overall Ranking 39897
Round 2 Score 1917 Overall Ranking 56337
Round 1 Score 2231 Overall Ranking 13274

Round 8 Trades
Mitchell > Burgoyne
MacDonald > Hurn
Crouch > Hallahan (Change worked a treat)

Happy with the big move up the list.  McVeigh as VC so used the loophole.

Round 9 Trades
Robertson > Acres
Polec > Pendlebury
Georgiou > Tippett (May hold this one dependent on Tippett being named.

Leaving Round 9 Team as:
DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Hurn, K. Simpson, M. Suckling, S Burgoyne, T Cutler, J Tippett, T. Langdon
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, R. Sloane, D. Beams, D. Tyson, S. Pendlebury, B Ebert,  J. Aish,  B Acres,  M. Hallahan
RUC: D. Cox, A. Sandilands T. Derickx, F. Thurlow
FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, L. Parker, D. Zorko, S. Higgins,  A Fasolo S. Lloyd , J. Kennedy-Harris
(Round 9 bye players in Red)

Carn

Team is looking good Ringo. Rank is a lot more like it too! I am also up to top 1k.You have a few bye players next week. With Higgins, Aish, Tyson, Fas all on field will you offload these guys soon?

Ringo

Will depend on B/E Carn but looking at Aish/Tyson downgrade upgrade and maybe Fasolo to Pavlich or if Fas going well hold.  Still want 6 trades going into finals if I can.

Ringo

Have adjusted trades for Round 9

Polec to Pendlebury
Aish to Acres (Aish has a higher B/e than Robbo who will become Hartung next week)
Suckling to Bartell (Suckling looks as though he has peaked and I think Bartell will be top 4 defenders so now is time to get in).

Leaving Round 9 Team as:
DEF: J. McVeigh,  J. Bartel, S. Hurn, K. Simpson,  S Burgoyne, T Cutler, S Georgiou, T. Langdon
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, R. Sloane, D. Beams, D. Tyson, S. Pendlebury, B Ebert,  J. Aish,  B Acres,  M. Hallahan
RUC: D. Cox, A. Sandilands T. Derickx, F. Thurlow
FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, L. Parker, D. Zorko, S. Higgins,  A Fasolo S. Lloyd , J. Kennedy-Harris
(Round 9 bye players in Red)

Gives me 20 players on field (21 if Georgiiou plays) but will await team announcements.

With trades next week should be ok for minimum 18 players on field.

caluuum

Team looks decent Ringo! Pendles and Bartell definitely necessary inclusions

How many trades are you looking at having left after byes?

Capper

Question!! Will you keep Derickx or trade him out for the cash after the byes?
