An updated Team

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: J. Bartel, J. McVeigh, M. Hibberd, G. Birchall, M. Suckling, M. Scharenberg (D. Gardiner, J. Kolodjashnij)
MID: S. Pendlebury, P. Dangerfield, J. Watson, R. Sloane, N. Fyfe, J. Polec, D. Tyson, C. Beams (J. Martin, T. Varcoe)
RUC: M. Leuenberger, H. McIntosh (L. McBean, R. Lobb)

CASH LEFT: $65,000

Bye Structure 13/7/10 so not real friendly but may play around with rookies to compensate. although 5 rookies have round 8 byes.

Like this team better, probably because its very similar to mine in structure and just has different premium choices. Saved money in the fwd line which I think is the way to go this, we are all praying rockliff and martin stay as fwds or there will be mo one left under 30 to pick, but also a lot of value there. Sloane and fyfe great uniques. Big watch on mcintosh but sandi and grundy also cheap alternatives.

9/10

Ringo,

This team is getting very strong the only 2 you probably wont have in your starting team are Scharenberg & possibly Karnezis
I like the Pick of Rory Sloane think he will improve even more this year as Bernie Vince has left. You  have into account the byes which is good to see. You need to be competitive particularly when your are in Elite leagues.Be good to see how Mcintosh goes at Geelong will he be the Starting Ruckman come round 1. Need to make sure that Rockliff is a Fwd this year and not just a Midfielder. I give your team an 8.5/10

Ringo

Been playing around to come up with this bye friendly team:

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: J. McVeigh, M. Hibberd, K. Simpson, G. Birchall, M. Suckling, S. Docherty (D. Gardiner, J. Kolodjashnij)
MID: S. Pendlebury, P. Dangerfield, J. Watson, R. Sloane, N. Fyfe, J. Polec, D. Tyson, D. Sheed (C. Beams, J. Martin)
RUC: M. Leuenberger, H. McIntosh (L. McBean, R. Lobb)
FWD: T. Rockliff, N. Naitanui, D. Thomas, S. Higgins, A. Fasolo, T. Varcoe (J. Hogan, S. Kersten)
CASH LEFT: $13,000

Bye Structure is 10/10/10.

Will also be interesting to see if I can afford it when actual prices are released.  Reasonably comfortable to sit on this pending SC opening but like most may still tinker.

Mate, McIntosh? Haven't heard much of him as of late this year.
Polec? will have to pull the digit out & get his fitness up as Burgess is a hard task fitness coach, & hopefully he can get him ready. So would be a wait n see
Varcoe yeah agree be good if that is the correct $ price.

HMac is a risk, and Varcoe's price is probably wrong. Rest looks good, midfield is very similar to mine. Lots of value in forward line, so can afford to go in a bit weaker there. Good stuff Ringo :)

It's a good team Ringo. I liked the Adcock POD but regardless the backline is still strong. Very nice midfield but I'd downgrade Polec to Luke Dunstan and Upgrade HMac to Goldy or Minson if you can. Rucks should be set and forget, picking HMac is running the risk of having to waste trades. Strong forward line but not a fan of the Varcoe pick. Onya mate.

At this stage it's hard to be critical. Like it. Perfect for byes...good luck trying to keep it at 10/10/10 :)
I'm not a Varcoe fan either....and I'm really surprised at the love for Sloane I've read in everyone's teams. I seroiusly doubt he'll be in mine as I see him as just below the elite mids and want my end team to be filled with them. If the thinking is he'll be mega consistent and end as a M7/8 then okay.

Just Adcock and stir.

As a Lion kid of guy, why wouldn't you stick fat with your man?

Birchill may still become Adcock Doc.  Just did a bye friendly team so more than likely will change

Wouldn't the perfect storm/team bye structure be - 8/11/11

No need to trade the first round of the byes.

Wish it was that simple but last year I used the 3 available trades twice during the byes to strengthen team so depending on where team sits is how you use the byes, Byes are also a lot earlier here which adds a little further consideration.

The Main Concerns to your team Ringo are Docherty & Mcintosh  depending if Docherty can beat out Scotland.  Mcintosh will need to beat out Simpson & Blicavs to be no 1  Ruck. I don't think varcoe will be as cheap as what Fanplanner says.

Scotlands on the rookie list, easy win for Dochers

Ringo

With the prices not set thought I would try and get a bye friendly team and $100k spare.

TEAM NAME: Ringos Stars
DEF: J. McVeigh, M. Hibberd, K. Simpson, J. Adcock, M. Suckling, S. Docherty (D. Gardiner, J. Kolodjashnij)
MID: S. Pendlebury, J. Selwood, J. Watson, R. Sloane, D. Beams, D. Tyson, D. Sheed, D. Garlett (J. Martin, L. Dunstan)
RUC: M. Leuenberger, S. Mumford (L. McBean, R. Lobb)
FWD: T. Rockliff, N. Naitanui, D. Thomas, S. Higgins, A. Fasolo, J. Hogan (S. Kersten, A. Steinberg)
CASH LEFT: $105,300

Rookies will not be finalized until those playing in round 1 are known and can be afforded, Still bye Friendly with 9/10/11
12 Definite premos with 5 mid price players who may become premos,  Some POD as well and yes Adcock back in as I believe he will thrive this year surrounded by the youngsters and will not be tagged.
Rucks are the one giving me grief so will probably change there a few times.
Odds on me sitting on this team till SC opens.
