So Grazz, LF, Ringo all had Missy Higgins in their starting teams in multiple comps.

Seems like some false information was shared amongst colleges
Have always said that Missy's price to hard to ignore and hoping for 5 - 7 games to get a nice price rise and upgrade.

I never said anything other than im taking him mate, needed to with the severe lack of fwd rookies.
So far the risk is paying off but waiting for it haha. :-X

After doing a bit of research think these are best trades for this week:

LeCras > Parker
Clurery > Griffiths

Decided the Clurey option based on the fact that compared to mid rookies coming up not a lot of options exist down back. Griffiths will be sound doe the next couple of weeks and make some nice cash to upgrade.

Parker will be a keeper at this stage - decided that as LeCras was intended as a POD and keeper I needed to stick with that strategy so went to Parker over Bruest.

Capper

Well there goes a good score for Parker this week. Glad i dont have him yet!!

Was thinking of bringing him in this week as well

Vinny

Those trades look good Ringo.

Parker has convinced me at this stage I think. He is looking very good.

Prefer Jaensch if you can afford him over Griffiths, but he is good too.

Hey Ringo,

How are ya?

Like the team. Parker looks good option. Was thinking him myself but still not sold on him keeping up his scores.
Rioli, Buddy could be other options.

Ringo

Well the Griffiths punt did not come off but worth persevering given form.

Beams as VC did the job so welcome to Thurlow as Captain.

Round 4 Update

Round 4 score 2198 Round 4 Ranking 8207 Overall Ranking 22063
Won 3/5 leagues losing one by 29 points which I would have won if I had moved Rohan from Field.

Previous Rounds
Round 3 Score 2250  Overall Ranking 39897
Round 2 Score 1917 Overall Ranking 56337
Round 1 Score 2231 Overall Ranking 13274

Round 4 Trades
LeCRas > Parker
Clurey > Griffiths

Current Team:
DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Mitchell, K. Simpson, M. Suckling, L. McDonald, B. Griffiths (A. Georgiou, T. Langdon)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, T. Rockliff, R. Sloane, D. Beams, D. Tyson, J. Aish, J. Polec, X. Ellis (L. Dunstan, V. Michie)
RUC: D. Cox, A. Sandilands (T. Derickx, F. Thurlow)
FWD: P. Dangerfield, D. Martin, L. Parker, D. Zorko, S. Higgins, G. Rohan (L. McCarthy, J. Kennedy-Harris)

The Good - Majority of orems scored well - Beams and Ablett O/s
Average - Scores of Zorko, Danger and Cox
The Bad - Not getting home in turn to take Rohan off ground after being named as sub.
The Ugly - Griffiths score when traded in - Will keep the faith for next week as B/e is still negative.

Possible trades this week - Early thoughts
Michie > Lewis Taylor or Matt Crouch
Rohan > ???? (depends on above trade as if Taylor not enough to do to Fasolo - Rohan lost cash this week so has to go.

Vinny

Very unlucky with Griffiths there Ringo, I'd be frustrated haha.

Your team looks very good on paper just been having rough luck.

Michie to Crouch & Rohan to Fasolo looks good.

If McCarthy isn't named this week, bring Lloyd in next week.

Ringo

Have just done an analysis on bye structures:

Currently have a 9.7.14 bye structure,
Rookies currently with Round 8 byes are Langdon and McCarthy,
If I add Crouch to that list I would be keeping him through the byes due to the fact that he would have not made enough coin by Round 8.
Fasolo also has a Round 8 bye but he would also be a keeper until upgraded.

Dilema now is if I trade Michie to Crouch and Rohan to Fasolo my bye structure would be 11, 7, 12.

So do I do the trades now and suck it and see or do I only do Michie to Crouch and just use Rohan. JKH or McArthy through F6? Lloyd is another option but he also has round 8 bye.

Obviusly wait for teams and if McArthy named would hold on the Rohan trade,
Michie is out for 4 - 6 weeks so this trade is a virtual necessity. Will be a handy downgrade option for some of the mids that have plateaued,

Rusty00

Just remember if you have a 11, 7, 12 structure as mentioned above, you would theoretically have 19 players available for R8. Except that 4 of those players will be ruckmen which you means you only actually have 17 players available.

It's an issue I don't think a lot of people have thought about.

Vinny

Yeah but I'm sure you will make some upgrades in round 8 to cover for this.

Maybe Langdon out or something like that when Seedy is back.

I've currently got 15 playing. After my proposed trades in the next couple weeks. I'll have 18.

Plan your trades and see how your structure ends up, should help you.

Ringo

Settled on these trades
Michie to Crouch
McCarthy to Fasolo
Bye structure is now 10.7.13 which is manageable. (18 playing in Round 8 atm)
24 trades left and now looking for cash gains.
so next week
Choice of 2
Rohan or JKH to Lloyd (may hold on this one though as bringing in another Round 8 bye and not sure if enough cash gain will be made in 2 weeks to trade out again)
Langdon to Cutler
Aish or Tyson to Nick Robertson
