Brad didn't and he had two pre-seasons here, Kerridge, Grigg, Lyons surely to get a looking first

Matt Crouch at Pick 23 is a steal. Definitely a Top 20-quality player.

Riley Knight at Pick 46 was a surprise but he is another ball-magnet. Having played against him twice this year, he has speed, endurance, good goal sense, and very good skills - knows how to find the ball en masse. I reckon if Harvey wasn't taken at 45 we would have got him. I would have liked to see Jonathan Marsh get picked up by us but oh well. Two quality players got taken tonight.

Crows Rookie Draft picks:

Pick 7 - Charlie Cameron (Swan Districts)
Pick 24 - James Battersby (Sturt)
Pick 40 - Jake Kelly (Oakleigh Chargers)
Pick 52 - Alex Spina (North Adelaide)

I especially like the pick of Battersby, he could become a real steal. Very surprised he didn't go in the draft. Has a ready-made body and has played nearly a full season at League level at Sturt.

Watch Charlie Cameron improve very very quickly on an AFL list. His pressure and one %ers is relentless. Coaches/Sando will love him

Heard lots of good things about Cameron. He must be pretty good if we overlooked Joel Tippett, I thought he would have been a lock if he got to 7.

Don't know much about Jake Kelly.

And Spina was a member of the AIS AFL Academy last season. He just had some issues with injury and form so dropped off the radar a bit. But a lot of potential there

Jake Kelly is the fella the Pies were supposed to take as a F/S rookie... Not sure what happened there. ???
