I believe this is the 10th straight year Kornes has won the 3k time trial.

Really, didn't know that. That's pretty impressive. Been a great player over the journey for Port and still leads by example, outstanding.

Kornes didn't even need to run the time trial. From what I was reading it was just for 1st to 4th year players. But Kornes rocked up and beat them all haha

Yeah Ebert, Monfries Lobbe and Logan all joined Kornes in coming down for a run when none of them needed to it just shows how hard the boys are pushing this season.

Also Kornes addressed the boys after the run asking them a few questions in which Hinkley was very impressed by.

Cornes is a star of your club, really like his attitude, seems to be a guy that doesn't need all the flashy business just gets his job done. Love those guys around clubs that show such good leadership without having to be recognised for their work with being in the leadership group etc.

Just raised him up another level for me, for a guy at the stage he's at in his career that's just brilliant really to front up when not required to. No wonder Hinkley loves him, im a Crows fan but always had the deepest respect for the way he's gone about his career. Great tagger yet still gets his own ball and pretty much been Fantasy relevant for his entire career, that's just gold.
