I want Pav to play deeper.  He will have stints where he pushes up the ground but having him deeper makes him a huge threat to oppositions.

+1 - he is much more dangerous when playing in FF spots/areas

Even if Pav doesnt take the mark, he brings the ball to ground and the likes of Balla, Walters and Mayne are very dangerous at ground level.

So, how do you guys see freos forward line stacking up atm for round 1?

One of Sylvia or De Boer will start on the bench with a mid to fwd rotation I reckon
And I have Clarke on the bench here, but could easily start on the field instead of a small depending on opposition structures

Way too hard to pick.  I would hate to be on selection committee next season for Freo

I can name 29 players who all deserve to be in the team (if fit)

In jumper number order

Ballantyne
Morabtio
Dawson
Ibbotson
D Pearce
Fyfe
Suban
de Boer
Walters
Sheridan
Griffin
Mzungu
Crowley
Mundy
Crozier
McPharlin
Barlow
Mayne
Keplar
Neale
Pavlich
Clarke
Sandilands
Hill
Sutcliffe
Spurr
Johnson
Duffield
C Pearce

that side will win a premiership, as I don's supporter I actually hope Gumby gets a good crack, even with him fully fit at essendon he's fringe, gotta feel for Lachie Neale, kid is a star but I can't see him budging de boer/sylvia out of the team, :(
