Who should Collingwood draft? / Draft Discussion Thread

For me if we did this:

Pick 6: Matthew Scharenberg
Pick 10: Marcus Bontempelli
Pick 65: Cameron Conlon

That is what I want to see, last two picks in the draft will be used to upgrade Dwyer and Oxley, Kelly will hopefully still be around in the rookie draft and if he was still available if we could rookie dayle garlett it would be amazing as well.

Word today that Hawks will take Garlett with their first pick at 24. So doubt he will be there for you in the rookie draft! :o

If Conlon could reach us at 65 that would be a bigger steal then Grundy at 18, reminds me alot of Tippett the way Conlon plays not personality luckily.

I personally do not think he will last this long but fingers crossed he will get to us.

As I have long said, I expected Aish to be a Pie with pick 6 but think if scharenberg is available at pick 6, we will snag him and hope to get aish at 10. If he goes to brisbane, then we get salem or bontempelli so really only good news for us if scharenberg slips, I cannot see ourselves not coming out as big winners of this draft :)

I've seen mock drafts with both Aish and Berg going at 1 or 2. now that probably won't happen, but just goes to show how highly both are rated. if Collingwood get both with 6 and 10, then holy shower.... smells fishy.. but that could just be my anti-pie radar going off.
