Be great to hear your thoughts guys, rookies tbd closer to first bounce and not worried about the byes.

GoLions

Goddard and HepD should both lose DPP, but you have cash available to replace them with whoever
Mids are too weak, need a 5th guy there
Rucks are alright, providing NicNat is 100% fit next season
Forwards look good

I would say drop Goddard to McKenzie, HepD to a rookie, and upgrade one of your mid rookies to Dayne Beams

Good team..
Backs: seems pretty standard.. Not sure what shaws role will be at the giants so keep an eye on that.
Mids:  try and get dayne beams in. Too cheap to pass IMO.  You could downgrade either Tyson, Martin or C. Beams to free up some cash.
Rucks: risky! But could pay off. Keep an eye on Nic Nat, he might not be 100%.  I think Sandilands would be a better choice than Grundy, but that is just my opinion.
Forwards: good.. Although I think hogan is too much, but he is meant to be an absolute gun!
Very good team.. I give it a 8.5/10.. I can't comment on rookies but u will sort them out come round 1.. Have a look at my team if u get a chance.. Best of luck.. Cheers..

Thanks Regs81, probably my Collingwood biased coming out with Grundy and Shaw(Broke my heart when he was traded to the Giants), really keen on Brodie think he will be something special and with Jolly gone he will be given every possible chance to be our number one big man.

Bit hard to judge you seem to have a lot of expensive rookies in the team but I'm sure you will jump on any cheap ones like everyone else , mids look a bit thin 3 guns but Daisy and 4 rooks bit risky , rucks well you will have to see if Nic Nat is fully over his groin problems and Grundy is ok but you will need to have 1 fit gun ruck to go with him I think good luck .

Overall sound time with quite a few expensive rookies.  This means a slight weakening of lines but ensuring rookies are virtually 100% sure of playing. Think though is is a bit of a risk playing 4 rookies in the midfield each week. As has been suggested I would look at playing around with rookies and downgrading to lower prices and bring in Dayne Beams who is hard to ignore at his price.

If you have been reading my comments you will see the reservations I have with Grundy. Hogan and Martin as expensive rookies but each to his own opinion and obviusly if a rookie named in round 1 has a sound pre season I would look at them. Keep an eye on Lennon from Richmond although not dirt cheap is still some 55k cheaper than Hogan as an example and if both average the same Lennon will rise quicker than Hogan.

I would also watch the pre season and see how GWS are using Shaw as if he is given lock down roles his scores will suffer.

Pretty Good  Teamwith the only negative being the expensive Rookies & the injury scare to Hogan so maybe only go for Martin out of the Expesive rookies
Def: Good depth here Shaw is a good POD
Mids:The negative here is that you have 4 rookies in your midfield and only 3 premiums.Need Dayne Beams in here
Rucks:I think Grundy will have a decent season whether he scores enough is another thing.
Fwds: I would downgrade Hogan to Lennon.

Overall your team is one premium short you may have to look at downgrading all the expensive rookies and one or to others to get Beams in give it an 8/10

DC13

cheers for giving some time to have a look at my team slick!

DEF: Got good depth with swallow at d5, good premo picks and the POD of shaw could be handy if he scores well.
MID: Probably one premo short, most will have beams at m4 I think, could pay off though, I have considered going 4 rookies myself. Good premo and rookie choices.
RUCK: Nic Nat should go 100+ if over his injuries and grundy as #1 ruck at Collingwood will improve.
FWD: Solid, you could probably even downgrade one of Hogan/clark to free up some cash.

Overall, a solid team mate with strong rookies in each line, just try and get one more premo mid in I reckon, 8/10
