Jimmy had a ripping NAB cup and preseason this year and was a starter in many teams this season.However his inconsistency in scores then his suspension was fairly annoying for fantasy coaches but he still averaged 106.14 for the year.May end up with a position change in Back/Mid.With a few players that also could end up with back DPP he may not get a spot in peoples teams so he could be a bit of a unique if you want to take a punt but will be a bit pricey.

A tad pricey I think, simply given his unknown of a position. I'd steer clear at this point, he is now one of the older brigade at Geelong and will play a still important role but I don't expect to see him average 100+ again.

Had Jimmy all year and did find him a little frustrating to watch, being a last quarter specialist, but he did average 106 for me as a forward.
Looking at his scores he only had 2 games below 80 and 13 above 100. Had a few 80's/90's but not too inconsistent really.
His positioning on the field is the biggest question, but he seems to play wherever he needs for the team to win. Giving him those last quarter stats and scores.
If he is back eligible and still playing the way he did this year I will happily have to pick him again.

I was worried he would get rested this year if he didn't get suspended he might have I think considering how Cats seem to be going youth now delisting Pods etc Jimmy might be rested so doubt I'll pick him again

For me it was a toss up between Zorko and Bartel for my starting team pretty happy I picked Bartel in the end

Had the same choice as Luvfooty and went the other way. Unfortunately I stayed loyal to Zorks and it cost me bigtime. Wondering if a new coach could bring the real Zorko back. Won't be starting Bartel, but will watch his progress closely.   :(

I'm still deciding. He's been one of the first players picked in my squad for years! Can't see him averaging any less than what he did in 2013 (106). Does it at both ends. He's price might drop, so a lot of people won't start him.

Well, last year was his best year (average wise) since 2009. I don't see it as a decline as such. Sure, he is no where near his glory days like averages of 125, 116 but every year he ends up being in the top 5 defenders of the year.

i'm not saying he is a bad pick in defense just don't understand why you think he wont average less then last year

i think he will be more team orientated like he was last year a bit in lock down defense roles and let some young guys step up in the attacking roles

I don't care if he averages a bit less than last year. He should still be a top 10 defender, more likely top 6.

As for not being picked on last years scores, sorry my crystal ball is broken.
