Forgot to set my alarm and woke up at 1, looking at the result I'm almost glad.

Afev and I on chat agree that this is the most boring shower of all time by far

110 minutes (so far) of my life I'm not getting back, plus the 5 hours sitting around waiting for it
This.
Even the shootout was predictable after 1 shot.
Second period of extra time wasn't too bad :P

Glad Netherlands are out though; been involved in some of the worst matches this WC.

Two words, Arjen Robben.

Hahaha the game was sooo bad, I watched the first half and literally knew it was going to penalties the way they were playing so I set my alarm back roughly and woke up before penalties.

Penalties were shower too.

Missed the 1st half woke up for the start of the second half, wish id stayed asleep. Netherlands stuffed it up big time, taking Van.P off and not being able to sub their keeper for the penalties was pretty defining. They really needed to go all out to win it before it got to penalties and to me they didnt push hard enough for the win and gambled on the penalty shootout without Van.P stepping up for the first and players refusing to take the first had them under the pump straight away.

Mailman the 2nd

Argentina vs Germany will be brazil v Germany 2.0

Don't think you can say they stuffed up big time subbing RVP Grazz, he was basically dead on his feet. Needed to take him off to add something up forward since he was offering nothing.

This is true he was tired but by taking him off the coach created two major issues, unable to sub Cillesen who is ordinary at penalties and no Van.P available for the first penalty. For me the only real choice was to remove a defender and bring on another striker and reduce Van.p's workload that way to get him through should it go to penalties then push as hard as you can for a goal  but they didnt push hard enough and Argentina were immediately favorites once extra time was done with. I still feel Gaal stuffed up.

Vlaar was actually so close to scoring his penalty, with the ball stopping on the line!! :o :o

Of course if it did go over, there would then be debate over whether he touched it after the save...

Grazz

Wow never saw that. Yep there would of been a chaos had it crossed the line. :o

MajorLazer

It just hit his shoulder though. Looked like he tried to avoid it but still hit him.

To bother getting up to watch the third place playoff
