Yes its what I really care about. I just have had enough of everyone talking about how good they are and how they deserve the win, deserve the draw etc..

The deserving things just grates on me with guys like Zlatan Ibrahimović and Gareth Bale sitting in the stands with teams that are better than 10 or so teams in the cup. I understand its the world cup and not the UEFA cup so I dont have an issue with it. Untill we start throwing around how unlucky Australia has been.

Truth is Australia is a non factor in football and the talk has been like we are the world champs.

Australia had Iraq Jordan Oman Japan.

Australia does have an uncanny ability to bring down teams to their level. Truth is they will finish 0-3.

I cant see any person legitimately saying Australia are better than Sweden.

I would say they are good at being underrated and teams underestimating them, than getting completely outclassed when teams need to win.

Why are you projecting your hate onto Australia instead of blaming the system that allowed Sweden to be in that position? They had to  verse Portugal when other sides that they are probably better than such Greece, Croatia, Romania and Iceland got to play each other. It's not Australia's fault it's the system, or it's Sweden for their world ranking.

Besides, I truly believe that we'd match it with Sweden. They're not THAT good, certainly worse than Chile and the Netherlands.

The system is what it is, sure it means teams that deserve to be in the world cup arent, but that makes in the world cup. I wouldnt bring world rankings into this as Australia is the lowest in the cup.

More an issue with a combination of Australian Fans and the Australian media. I have heard the word deserve thrown around way too often by Australian fans and media. Thats when I have issue with the draw, when a team that is lucky to even be hear is talking about how good they have been and them playing better and deserving draws and wins.

They have played very well and would like to give them credit for it, but the hype up is insane. Got to counter it with some negativity. They deserve to have lost both games but they did it competitively and should be applauded for pushing teams far out of their league. Instead the talk is how we have played better and deserved to win.

It was great to see them do so well and was happy for them to do it. I dont hate Australia by any means, I just like to show the otherside of the story. Truth is im  abit in the middle, they played very very well and pushed teams that really nobody expected them too. However Netherlands did play poorly last night, but Australia was very good for Australia. I think its due to Australia used to being elite at every sport we play. Possibly the nation that punches most over its weight in terms of sporting ability, however we just arent that good at football yet.

just for a fact Sweden aren't certainly worse than Chile and Netherlands.

I havent heard anything but them outclassing them and deserving a win or draw and silly comments like if Spain beat chille than Australia can qualify. Anyway I have unintentionally brought attention to Australia.

time to focus on the world cup and nations that are in it.

Crotia has looked real good soo far and Mexico v Croatia will be a really interesting matchup next week, with the winner going through to play the Dutch or Chile (which should also be a cracker).

I know some media would be saying we "dominated" at times and deserved the draw/win. Think we put on a heck of a competitive match and did well better than expectations. Given was hoping we'd win, Dutch capitalized on their chances showing why they are a class above us, whereas we couldn't finish with some of our ones (e.g. Oar/Leckie chance).

We have a long way to go, but we tend to embrace the underdog spirit :P.
