Massive performance by the boys today although we really did lack structure and stability when Bresciano and Timmy went off. Bit of a glimpse to the future though, plenty of incredible attacking talent coming through!

Just gotta build for the future. Blood youngsters a lot more in the national team and ensure they get the best possible training, both in terms of physical skills and mental skills. They have to start dumping oldies like Neill, Schwarzer, Cahill, Bresciano, Thompson and Kewell who get in on reputation alone and start playing these gun youngsters. One key part of this is ensuring they get experience both domestically and overseas. Having a sustained coaching staff and squad will also play a key role. And, most importantly, get the right mindset into the coaches, players and FFA.

This team if managed correctly could challenge next year for the round of 16, with the help of a few old blokes, and could make the top 8 in 2016.

Cahill is 34 but who flowerin cares. Its beneficial for young players to have someone like him who has made it in the big leagues to learn off and emulate.

had enough of Australia and how brilliant they have been. Truth is they are 0-2 as they should be and really dont deserve to be in the cup. Just lucky they are in a good qualification group. Spanish team would get a flogging from their media :-X. Aussies are super happy considering we gave the Netherlands a good match and actually scored goals :o. Watched it was was stoked for them, as nobody gave them hope, even our own supporters :P.

We also did better than Spain against them, so by that logic, we should beat Spain :o.
