Mailman the 2nd

Every 4 years I tune in with absolutely 0 soccer/football knowledge to go for my German heritage.

We always get so close too :'( Maybe this year!

Haha, at least you've got the heritage as a good reason for supporting Germany.

People get annoyed when I say that my reason for supporting the German side is because I learned German in primary school and first learned about football over those six years.  :P

Yeah I visited Germany when I was very young (before A-League I think although idk) and got to see some early Hamburg HSV games which got me into watching them at the 2006 world cup.

They always look like they're going to win the whole thing, until they lose :P

I met this German guy at Singapore airport when I was like 5 and he asked me if I liked football (didn't really know much about it except for what the ball looked like)... so I thought he talking about AFL. :P Then he showed me a picture of something German-football-related (vague recollection) and I kept it until I lost it. :(

Also remember playing a tabletop football like game in Prep both teams were Germany.  :o

Matt  Ryan's the best keeper in Belgium :o
That's not much of an achievement.
