I know i'm going to get criticised for Gaff and Clark but I feel they do offer great value (especially Gaff). I'm never a big fan of getting more than 3 'premium' backs as they've let me down too often - for not many points either!!

First off, Goddard won't be a defender, mid only. Toby Greene I don't think is a premium whatsoever, and don't see him improving his numbers anywhere near top 6 scoring. He may be a POD but not a positive one in your case. Rest of the backline seems OK.

Midfield looks OK once again, Pendles is a must and I like your choices of Cotchin and Beams. Griff seems a little overpriced as he isn't completely proven like the others at his price and I don't particularly like the choice of JPK as his Sydney teammates do steal a lot of points. Hanners, Jack, Parker, Mcveigh, Mitchell and co are only getting better and better and I don't think he'll reproduce the year he had in 2012. Could be a good POD if he fires again though.
Gaff is a terrible choice IMO, can't handle a tag and he's always tagged cause of this reason. Cheap for a reason, only an outside player, would have to improve his inside game considerably to even be considered. Rookies look good.

Rucks are very good, cannot fault that at all. Goldy is ultra consistent, Sandi is great value, and you have Billy Longer there as R3 who should get very good game time at St Kilda for insurance. Maybe a little bit of overkill with Longer at R3, maybe better used in other areas such as your forward line.

Forwards start well and Rocky, Dusty and Daisy are very good choices but three Melbourne forwards in the one team when they don't score very well could spell disaster. You only need Melbourne to have an absolute shocker for your team to go from looking good to crap. Get rid of Clark for somebody else, way too injury prone.

Good cash available, so you can make plenty of different choices. Well done and good luck.

I have those 3 Melbourne forwards in my team. Probably won't have the guts to start Clark but I want him.

Very solid team mate, can hardly fault it. Only maybe consider Birchall in defence and MMurphy in the mids. Both are underpriced
