Richmond's Best 22 for 2014.

It's not too bad, some of the other best 22s the Hearld Sun have done have been way off.
The only change I would do is Lennon out, Hampson takes his spot and then Petterd comes in.

I dunno about Petterd. I would say Aaron Edwards is the unlucky one in that team. He had a good final

Can't help but feel push-up will be eased out slowly this year, so I reckon we'll see games from guys like Nippa, Lloyd and McDonough.

But yeah, can also see Petterd getting games. He'd be a handy swing man if needed, an improvement on McGuane tbh.

Also just wondering if and when guys like Milo, The Tank and Banfield will slot in.

Looking at my best 22, the only difference was Petterd, I think, so that's why I mentioned him. I think he's pretty underrated. He's a decent defender and he can go forward, too.
I like Azza as well, but even though he isn't tall, he plays as a tall forward as he's an awesome mark. Don't know how all of Jroo, TV, Hampson and Azza could function in one forward line  :-\
I forgot about Knights, if he's fit I think he has to play.
As for Lennon, looks as thought he's fitted in well, but I think they'll want him to earn his spot, like Vlas this year. Plus we now have plenty of small/medium forwards and Azza/Knights are ahead of him.

Pretty reasonable although it'll be tight between Lennon/Az Edwards for that forward pocket spot, while I reckon there's a chance Petterd might be included on the bench as I think there are too many mids on the bench (admittedly they could probably play HBF/HFF if required though).

Can say that from the pics I've seen and what I've heard guys like Beatle (Lennon) and McBean will definitely be pushing for selection.

Personally, I'm hoping for Nathan Gordon to get a run early. I really think he was a good recruitment.
