I'm not sure it's best for King to be hanging out with guys like this but in reality, there would be a lot of people in the world with some shady friends and it's not really up to the club to say you can't hang out with them IMO.

I'm sure there's a couple of Crows players that have some bad-boy friends on the outside teebs ;)

Tbag not sure if you read it correctly but King IS allowed to hang out with whoever he likes. Was the club that have said this. He's a senior player, he's not doing anything illegal, it's not affecting his footy and he's known the guy long before he was a footy player.

Yeah again though, if it was affecting his football or welfare then I would say he should be cut off all together but I don't think this is an issue at all. Certainly not news worthy

I disagree, football already dictates so much of players life- if king isn't doing anything wrong, then it's not right to tell him to completely cut off ties with an old friend, no matter who it is.

that's the issue here, it isn't what king's doing but rather what people perceive he should be doing... he's an elite athlete- he's paid to kick a ball around an oval and to make himself as good at that as possible. It's really moronic how much australian's revere their athletes, he's not some type of flowering deity, if it's not affecting his footy, then frankly it's nobody's business.

And that's a shower metaphor that I hate- Kitchen's should have proper ventilation for a variety of reasons... also, he wouldn't have the handle the smoke if flowertards didn't keep burning shower.

And he is? He's never been in trouble. If you knew jake kings background and how  much he's changed and how far he's come from before playing AFL then you wouldn't say that. He's doing nothing wrong... Like the club said. t's their opinion that matters to him. If the club say it's fine do you seriously still expect that he should not see someone anyway when it's had no baring on his football or getting into trouble whatsoever?

there was a massive fire warning a couple of weeks ago in my town, getting texts like "Seek shelter now"...  my cousin's part of a bikie gang (think it's the Mongols) and he had at least 30 of the guys with their bikes and cars and what not ready to help out anyone that needed help.
