Haha to be honest I don't blame you! The game tonight is massive though. If we win, we can consider ourselves a genuine top 8 contender.

If not, we head back to the drawing board.

Hahaha Adelaide losing 11 straight!?

Mailman the 2nd

I had a crack with a bit more love to Adelaide :P

I didnt bother w/ margins so just grouped teams with same wins instead of doing percentages

1st - 3rd:  Sydney, Fremantle, Geelong (18 wins)

4th - 5th: Port, Hawthorn (17 wins)

6th: North (15)

7th: Gold Coast (14)

8th: Collingwood (13)

9th-10th: Adelaide, Essendon (12)

11. West Coast
12. Melbourne
13. Richmond
14. Carlton

the rest can probably all beat each other so I didnt bother :P

Yeah... Write us off.

Far out they were sh*te, sorry LE.
I thoughts with their weak drawing that they'd at least make the 8 but after last night...  :P

I doubt it's Simpson's game plan - seems to be poor skills & decision making.

Gold Coast will make the 8 is way more likely than the Coasters!  ;)

Ugh, it was disgusting. Shattered I paid to go and see that. Was about to leave so many times but I stuck it out.

Think Simmo thought he was still playing for the Roos :P Nah, we were so reactionary and when the rain came we didn't change our gameplan for a quarter and a half. By then it was way too late.

Sticking by GC not making the 8 though ;)

kilbluff1985

came across this

We have done a Weighted Ladder which has been comprised using the following formula:
Win Against a 2013 Top 4 Side - 4 Points
Win Against a 2013 Top 5-8 Side - 3 Points
Win Against a 2013 9-14 Side - 2 Points
Win Against a 2013 Bottom 4 Side - 1 Point
This Ladder will basically show us who has been best performed against who they have played in 2014.
(Brackets will be Actual Ladder Position)
1. Port Adelaide 23 Points (1)
2. Sydney 19 Points (3)
3. Geelong 18 Points (6)
4. Collingwood 17 Points (4)
5. North Melbourne 16 Points (8)
6. Hawthorn 14 Points (2)
7. Fremantle 14 Points (7)
8. Essendon 11 Points (10)
--------------------------------------
9. Gold Coast 10 Points (5)
10. Adelaide 8 Points (9)
11. Melbourne 8 Points (15)
12. Richmond 6 Points (13)
13. Carlton 6 Points (12)
14. Western Bulldogs 5 Points (14)
15. GWS 5 Points (17)
16. West Coast 4 Points (11)
17. St Kilda 4 Points (16)
18. Brisbane 4 Point (18)
Each team has now played 10 matches & Port Adelaide have a 4 Point lead out on top of our weighted ladder which is indicative of the current AFL Ladder.
Geelong show us that they should be rated higher then their current position of 6th which was obviously due to the fact their percentage was shot to pieces after a deplorable loss on the weekend.
North Melbourne also rate higher sitting 5th on our ladder & are probably 1 game off where they should be to date.
Hawthorn have a 4 position swing and are the only team inside the top 8 which rank lower then their current position of 2nd.
Of the lower ranked sides, the Eagles have still yet beaten anyone who finished higher then the bottom 4 in 2013 whilst the Demons have been the best ranked side jumping 4 positions.
If the finals was played now using our weighted ladder the 1st week would look like this
Port Adelaide V Collingwood (AO) (N)
Sydney V Geelong (ANZ) (N)
North Melbourne V Essendon (ES)
Hawthorn V Fremantle (MCG)

Freo vs Hawthorn in Round 21 will decide who'll finish 4th I feel.
