Jimmy Bartel, Andrew Walker, Jarrad McVeigh, Matt Suckling, Shaun Edwards, Matt Scharenberg
Darcy Gardiner, Zak Jones

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Joel Selwood, Jobe Watson, Dayne Beams, Luke McDonald, Dom Tyson, Matt Crouch
Jack Martin, Trent Dumont

Nic Naitanui, Aaron Sandilands

Tom Rockliff, Dean Cox, Dustin Martin, Dale Thomas, Alex Fasolo, Viv Michie
Jesse Hogan, Shane Kersten

Love this team. Just have to find the right rookies rd1.

Vinny

I like it mate, well done.

Few players I would question though.

Dean Cox. He is a gun and dominated fantasy for years but he won't score well from now on, he is on the decline and scores shower when NicNat is around. Look at maybe a Pavlich, Gunston, Motlop or Christensen.

Sandi is also too risky for me, he has Griffin, Clarke, Bradley as backup which means he will be rested if he has the slightest niggle. Goldy or Minson are better,

Best of luck!

Bones Bombers

Thanks for your thoughts Vin.
Cox may be my POD by the looks of it. I will have to look into his scores from this year when Nic Nat plays. I can't log into my SC on my ipad for some reason. Compared to the other forwards I still expect him to be right up there and he gives me ruck cover.
Could swap him for Minson and Sandi for a cheap forward. Will have to wait and see.
Looking forward to DPP confirmation and prices. Team could change a lot.

Bones Bombers

Looking at team with only 4 premo mids and a strong back line. Mid rookies should make lots of $$$.
Bones Bombers Fanplanner squad in the Super Coach competition coached by bones351. Salary cap left: $41,000.

Andrew Walker, Jarrad McVeigh, Jimmy Bartel, Sam Mitchell, Matt Suckling, Zak Jones
Darcy Gardiner, Matthew Fuller

Scott Pendlebury, Patrick Dangerfield, Jobe Watson, Dayne Beams, Dom Tyson, Christian Salem, Dominic Sheed, Claye Beams
Jack Martin, Jonothon O'Rourke

Will Minson, Nic Naitanui
Liam McBean, Rory Lobb

Tom Rockliff, Dustin Martin, Matthew Pavlich, Paul Chapman, Alex Fasolo, Ben Lennon
Jesse Hogan, Jay Kennedy-Harris

Zac Jones should become Luke McDonald but that may mean a downgrade somewhere else. Will wait and see.
Bye structure is 9/9/12 which I like.
Oh yeah Danger and Rocky will swap spots too.

Vinny

Cannot fault it much mate but here's a few things:

- McBean is forward only for next year.
- If you can, get Selwood in there as your fifth premium. He will be Top 2 in the competition next year.
- Bartel isn't the best option IMO, he is gradually slowing down. Thompson or Hanley may be better or Hibberd who is great.

Good luck man!

Vinny

He said he is swapping him and Danger at the bottom. :)

Ringo

Not much more to add here.

Nice structure overall, Prems are sound.

just need to await rookie Prices and rookies who are playing in Round 1.  Think it is more important this year to have cash gaining players playing from Round 1.

Hope this team is affordable for you when prices are released. (I am hoping that martin and Hogan are both $115k but doubt it).

Bones Bombers

Thanks Ringo. The forward line is the one that looks weak to me at the moment. Not a lot of stand out premos. We all may need to consider a 4 premo midfield with good rookies when prices are released. Also ruck 3 is a gamble, not sure any will play.

Bones Bombers

This is the team I have on Gold ATM. Looking for fast $ generation, pretty confident I will find the right rookies. Have room to move with a couple of slight downgrades if needed. I'm sure most will keep trying to fit an extra premo mid but I'm trying to pick the best possible and upgrade to the rest. Belly is for early backup to Sandi and hopefully an early upgrade.

What do you think?

nostradamus

nice team Bones with good balance mate

The only concerns l have is starting 4 rookies in the mids and having Belly in the fwd line

Bones Bombers

That's where it's different to most teams. I like the rookie mids better than those available elsewhere and don't think I want cheaper premos. I mentioned my reasons for Belly. I'm not yet 100% confident in Sandi, but want him. Also Belly finished the season on one leg. If fit for round 1 he will do as well as most forwards. I flew to Melbourne to watch the West Coast game and he shouldn't have been playing. Couldn't run at all. Expect a good start from him and if Sandi works out, I can upgrade him if I need to.
Thanks for having a look.

Bones Bombers

Haven't posted a team for a while, not that I havent been playing around with it. Had a pretty settled team with Daisy, J.Martin and Tyson at M5,6,7 but played around a bit today and came up with this team.

Jarrad McVeigh, Jimmy Bartel, Sam Mitchell, Matt Suckling, Kade Kolodjashnij, Luke McDonald
Darcy Gardiner, Matthew Fuller

Gary Ablett jnr, Scott Pendlebury, Jobe Watson, Tom Rockliff, Dayne Beams, Viv Michie, Dom Sheed, Xavier Ellis
Luke Dunstan, Jonothon O'Rourke

Nic Naitanui, Aaron Sandilands
Toby Nankervis, Rory Lobb

Patrick Dangerfield, Dustin Martin, Lance Franklin, Jesse Hogan, Alex Fasolo, Ben Lennon
Mitch Honeychurch, Jay Kennedy-Harris

My aim is to only have top 10 premiums and rookie priced players. Can't look past Suckling, Sandi and Beams for potential though.
Just need to find the right mix of rookies rd1, otherwise Beams will have to go to enable another premo elsewhere.
Really need to see some preseason games to get some idea with rookies. Can't wait!

Def:  Very strong.  I like that combination.

Mids: Reckon you need to get Jack Martin in.  I know he is pricey but there are huge raps on the kid.

Rucks:  Sandilands makes me nervous.  Not only is he injury prone, but I reckon Clarke and Griffin may have gone passed him for the #1 ruck position.  Sandi if fit should get games, but I reckon it could be more as a forward, which could hurt his scores if he isn't kicking goals.  Maybe consider downgrading NicNat to someone like Lobbe?  and upgrading Sandi to McIntosh or Grundy.

Fwd.  I actually don't mind this forward line.  Though if you want to get Martin in you could consider downgrading Fasolo, Lennon or Hogan to Lewis Taylor and then upgrading Michie or Sheed to Martin in your mids.
