If i could afford this team come Rnd 1 it would be crazy! (Know it is very unlikely) Loving it so much ATM! Starting with 6 MIDs of which should all most likely end up as top 10 come seasons end, so is  going to get me those crazy extra early points, although looking at the team it still hasn't sacrificed my team, somehow.  Still have 3 uber premo backs, plus 2 mid pricers who will be premium scorers, 1 uber ruck with a mid who should score premium, plus 1 uber fwd and 2 premiums, plus a mid, although i see this 3 all going at uber fwd status. Also prepared for NicNat only being a ruck which i'm almost 100% sure on happening.

So thoughts on my side?

Cheers guys!

Vinny

I like the backline, very solid except unless Waters is fit Round 1 you gotta change him.

Shaw is risky but may pay off. Very strong midfield mate, guns and rookies.

Good rucks and forwards are sweet too. Yeah discounts and stuff are a little off I think.

We all have too much cash to spend, our teams will be very different round 1 but good start. :)

That's a great team. I would only change Waters. Shaw is a great pick IMO. 6 mids is the way to go. Interseting pick in Christenson - He is a ball magnet when in the mids was going to pick him last year. But now I reckon Motlop is looking like breaking out sooner. Anyway maybe they'll both improve!

Looking fantastic Hawkers.
Cannot fault the backline whatsoever, looking very good. 4 premiums and Suckers aswell as two of the best rookies.
Midfield loooks good, 5 premiums who should all be keepers, and good choices in the rookie selections (obviously had a look at the draft). Love the pick of Danger, unfortunately can't fit him in mine,
Same ruckline as me, looks good, pretty safe bet.
Like the selection of Christensen in there - don't know about Rockliff, not overly sure whether they'll allow him forward status, but we'll have to wait and see.

Basically going the same structure as you, and really cannot fault your team. 9.5/10

Cheers man, thanks for the in depth break down.

Yeah, based all my rookie selections of last night and am really happy with them. Taylor at Brissy is a steal and should be standard price, Dunstan will play Rnd 1 and Sheed can rack it up and i would think he'd play rnd 1 too. I have been ruined by my backline for 2 years in a row now so have decides to load up there. Considering Martin to Pav if i need the coin. Yeah stock standard rucks and Christensen IMO will break out this year. Rocky will get DPP, if not, will swap out Danger for him.

Great team here Hawkers.
Lewis Taylor is the perfect fit for Brisbane and should play early.
13 - 15 prems and all the right rookies.
This team is a money making machine, the secret to a successful supercoach season.
Well done.

Love that backline, no complaints here
Midfield looks good
Rucks look good
Dunno about Christensen, but when I had a look at his numbers this year, was very surprised. Could turn out really well!

Not really any faults at all tbh, best of luck for next year :)

5th Draft: Decemeber 1st

DEF: J. McVeigh, S. Thompson, K. Simpson, G. Birchall, B. Waters, M. Suckling (McDonald, D. Gardiner/Schrenberg)
MID: S. Pendlebury, J. Selwood, J. Watson, T. Rockliff, D. Beams, D. Tyson, C. Beams, J. Martin (L. Dunstan, J. O'Rourke)
RUC: T. Goldstein, N. Naitanui (L. McBean, S. Naismith)
FWD: A. Christensen, M. Pavlich, D. Thomas, S. Higgins, V. Michie, J. Hogan (S. Kersten, S. White)
CASH LEFT: $15,400

-Decided to take a new look strategy with the abundance of forward rookies that look likely to play round 1 with very little, if any in the backline (I believe only Mcdonald will ATM)
-Also decided to face my fears and finally admit to myself Rocky won't get DPP, so getting my mind ready now.
-Decided to stack my backs and rucks as they have be my downfall 2 years in a row now.
-Could downgrade Goldy to Lobbe, giving me 150k extra in which i could upgrade a Pav/Waters/Sucking type, but have decided on how my team is at right now
-Few other rookies that i could swap out any fwd one; i.e Lennon/Banfield/Menzel/Paine/Impey/Llyod, while in the backline i only see Fuller/Roberts getting a chance.

Overall i believe ATM this team is pretty solid and couldn't get much better considering its only December

P.s Does anyone know when people who bought supercoach gold get their pre-opening attempt at a team?

 :( :(
Think last year it was Jan 1st. Probably the same this coming year. Like the 5th team and especially the backline strategy. Cheers and best of luck.   ;)

Cheers, for some reason i had mid-late December in mind...

I agree that Mcdonald is  looking like the only Rookie backmen to Debut in Round 1 unless someone else has a cracking Preseason.
I see you have made a few changes from your 4th draft Strengthening your backline by Bringing in Beau Waters
Mids: Tom Rockliff has been moved from you fwds to mids leaving out Dangerfield
Ruck The risk of Sandilands braking down has been removed with the inclusion of Goldstein
Fwds: with Higgins coming in has weakened your forwardline but it may not cost you much if he can stay fit up until the bye weeks then you can cash him in.

Overall your team has improved marginally 7.5/10
