My Chumps

Looks damn good, but it's awfully risky to leave yourself with no trades heading into finals.

Definitely think you should keep Roughy. He's an excellent loophole player as he can go large.

Also wouldn't worry about getting Mitchell this week as he's playing the best team in the competition so his influence will probably be subdued.

Cutler is still a couple of weeks away so would go Cutler - Mitchell leaves you extra cash
Kinda hoping Cutler doesn't come back so I can use him for the emg loophole. Plus, If I trade Cutler, then I have basically zero chance of getting Boomer.

I dunno, will see how all players involved go over the split round

Ricochet

I'd hold the trades mate. You'll need them come finals

Yeah this is what I was thinking, but needed someone else to say it to me haha

Cheers Ric

I'll hold this week, and reassess in 2 weeks time, as my final league match will be tough and will basically decide whether I finish 2nd/3rd, or drop to 4th, and considering the guys in 1st and 2nd atm, I would much rather not to play 1st haha

GoLions

2569 this week, including a Sandi donut
Moved to 1485 overall
3 trades left

Gotta get rid of Hibberd, 106.5k in the bank, team hasn't changed since the last pic

Can afford any defender except Malceski. Guys I'm looking at are: Mitchell, Birchall, Hodge, Bartel, and Fisher
Plan on using my last 2 trades in week 2 or 3 of finals by downgrading Ambrose to a rookie (likely Spencer White for loophole purposes), and upgrading Taylor to Boomer

Thoughts on who the best replacement for Hibberd would be? Cheers guys

Ringo

I would also look at Hurn GL.  Not sold on Mitchell with his draw. Bartel may be used differently as well if the last couple of weeks are any indication.

So I would look at only Birchall, Hodge or Hurn

Already got Hurn, Hanley, Simpson, McVeigh, Swallow

Ringo

In that case toss a coin between Birchill and Hodge. Hodge looks like he is coming right for finals will not be tagged and could be a POD for you.

GoLions

Probably leaning towards Birchall the most

Haha made my post as soon as you posted basically. Do you think there's any chance of Hodge getting injured at all? I dunno, he would definitely be my next best bet after Birchall atm...

Ringo

Always a risk of injury for any player. I am looking to upgrade Cutler to Hodge in finals with my last trade and moving Suckling to D7. (I Have had Hodge in DT for most of the year and have not been disappointed)/

GoLions

Went with bloody Smitch hahaha

Scored 2475, overall rank now 1188, so close to that top 1k

Swallow and Gunston could both miss this week, hopefully Smitch is back

Thinking Gunston to Boomer if he's out, especially if it's 2 weeks

Gunston gone for 2-3 weeks. Now just waiting for Swallow to be out as well and I'm set.
