Roughy will pump out a  140 in the next couple of games, JJ doesn't look like getting near it.

:P

Haha genius ;D

Good week, scored 2415 :)
Weekly rank: 1459
Overall rank: 4283

8 trades left

Thinking of going Watson-->Zorko, Hartung-->O'Brien, which will free up 328k so that next week I can hopefully trade Taylor-->SJ, KK-->Hibberd and team will be complete with 4 trades remaining

GoLions

Ok guys, question

Watson-->Zorko is locked in

For my 2nd trade, should I do;
KK-->Hibberd
or
Hartung-->O'Brien

If I trade KK, then next week I will do;
Hartung-->Spina (for fwd/mid DPP with Shenton or Taylor)
Shenton/Taylor-->premo mid under 550k

If I trade Hartung this week, then next week I can do;
KK-->Hibberd or Ibbo
Taylor/Shenton-->SJ or maybe someone else, will be very tight with cash if I get Hibberd
I may not even be able to afford both Hibberd and SJ next week tbh, so if I want Hibberd, it's safer to get him this week I reckon. Ibbo would be a massive POD though and should be around 420-430k next week

Thoughts?

Vinny

I'd do KK to Hibberd man. Hartung isn't going to lose cash so he can wait one week and you can do the trade where you bring in a DPP player. Looks good otherwise!

My only worry; Jelwood in doubt apparently :-X

I would hold KK. Hartung might not be losing cash but there are no rookie options in the mids where you can make 80k while dumping Hartung. Plus GC have the Eagles so KK has the ability to score a 90 while Ibbo should drop in price. The high B/E is a risk, but it is one maybe worth taking.

And were you reading my idea of looking at Ibbo? :P I am monitoring him this week since Rico said he might be playing the 3rd tall with no Johnson/McPharlin.

Yeah KK can score well...just don't want him to score poorly and have Hibberd kill it, as Hibberd is my preferred option

I've basically been looking at some of the cheaper defenders as backup, such as Shaw, Hodge, Murphy. Then in one of my SC Draft leagues I saw Ibbo as a free agent and I picked him up. And then I thought I'd check out his price and he's getting pretty cheap with a BE in the 120s I think? So he's one of my backup plans if I end up keeping KK this week :P

I still don't know which option to go with though  :-\

GoLions

Ok doing Hartung to O'Brien

If I end up choosing Ibbo next week, then I'll also have like 580k or so for a mid, so won't have just SJ to choose from

GoLions

Had an alright week, ended up scoring 2203 thanks to my main men Goddard and Hurn. Rocky as C was dreadful haha, ZOB covered for Beams. Taylor stepped up to cover GUNston. Hanley, Fyfe, and Pendles were also very good. KK was a disappointment, but he's gone for Hibberd now :D
Oh and Parker was also not great, but a lot of people would have him anyway

Weekly rank of 15041
Overall rank of 4159

Trades for this week

KK-->Hibberd
Shenton-->SJ

Team is now complete with 4 trades left and 26.4 remaining

Very happy with my defence. Taking out their injured games, Hanley is actually averaging 100.7, and Hurn is averaging 104. So essentially 5/6 defenders have a 100+ avg

Midfield I'm also extremely happy with. Goddard averaging 117.9 without his sub game, so all mids averaging 110+, 7/8 with a 115+ avg

Goldy finding some form in the rucks, and I expect that to continue with both Daw and Currie out of the side. 110+ avg from now on would be fantastic :)

Forwards are a bit weak, and when it comes to finals the plan is to do a downgrade somewhere, and upgrade either Roughy or GUNston to Gray, depending on who is going worse

Vinny

Yeah screw you. :P

Trades look great and nice team to end with, not sure on Hibberd though.

Why not Hibberd? Other options are guys like Shaw, Birchall, Burgoyne, which I'm not as keen on. Or doing another downgrade somewhere to get Bartel next week, but I don't think it's worth the trade.

I don't know, just not feeling him hahaha. But yeah prefer him over all those other options.

Nah not worth the trade.

GoLions

Scored 2400 even with Zorko, Hanley, and Simpson

Moved up to 3050 overall or something like that, which is alright.

NO TRADES THIS WEEK! :D

Although one of Litherland or Cutler will most likely need to cover Hibberd

Probably Ablett VC into Rocky C as well :)
