TEAM NAME: D-Mac's Destroyers
DEF: B. Goddard, H. Shaw, P. Hanley, B. Gibbs, N. Bock, M. Scharenberg (D. Gardiner, K. Aylett)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, J. Selwood, P. Dangerfield, N. Fyfe, J. Kelly, D. Tyson, C. Salem (J. Martin, B. Hartung)
RUC: A. Sandilands, B. Grundy (M. Apeness, T. Nankervis)
FWD: T. Rockliff, D. Martin, L. Franklin, D. Thomas, B. Lennon, V. Michie (J. Hogan, J. Paine)
CASH LEFT: $400

Ok I realise I have probably left too little cash, but have two quick fixes in mind if so. Shaw to Suckling or Fyfe to Beams makes enough cash to fix this.

Thomas, Bock, Sandilands all depending on fitness.

Near certain starters at this stage - Goddard, Hanley (if back). Penldebury, Selwood, Dangerfield in the mids. Franklin, Thomas and Rocky (if fwd).

Rookies are all up in the air at the moment but made room too make sure they arent all bottom price. Fasolo or Rohan through the fwds if fit. Scharenberg, Kelly, Tyson, Martin, Michie, Hogan looking the best of the rookie priced this far out.

May downgrade a back to a rookie if there is a good one to be found in order to upgrade Sandi to Mummy, McEvoy or Goldstien. Tossing up between Grundy and Hickey as possible breakout players for 2nd ruck.

Have at it guys, criticism appreciated.

Goddard and Gibbs won't be defenders, highly doubt Bock will be best 22 at the suns, your 4 best mids are all out in the same round, I hear Rocky won't keep dpp but other than that I like it, especially Fyfey!

Fantasygun

Excellent,
If Goddard and Gibbs don't keep DPP then go with two of Bartel/Simpson/Walker/McVeigh

TEAM NAME: D-Mac's Destroyers
DEF: J. Bartel, J. McVeigh, H. Shaw, P. Hanley, N. Bock, M. Scharenberg (D. Gardiner, K. Aylett)
MID: G. Ablett jnr, S. Pendlebury, J. Selwood, N. Fyfe, M. Murphy, J. Polec, D. Tyson, M. Crouch (J. Martin, B. Hartung)
RUC: S. Mumford, B. Grundy (L. McBean, T. Nankervis)
FWD: D. Martin, N. Naitanui, L. Franklin, D. Thomas, A. Fasolo, V. Michie (J. Hogan, J. Paine)
CASH LEFT: $14,400

Made a few changes, Bartel and McVeigh in for Goddard and Gibbs who may lose DPP. Murphy in as is great value. Mumford strenthens the ruck. Planning for a fwd line without Rocky, though if he does stay a fwd will be straight back in.

If Bock is fit I consider him a walk up start in a team lacking any quality big forwards. Not too concerned with byes with the best 18 rule and dont like to plan for them anyway, think its more beneficial to pick the best starters regardless.

Fantasygun

Nice, yeah planning. For the byes may help not cop a loss for the byes but it  won't be as good for other weeks, don't pick players ahead of other because of byes

Footyrulz

DEF:
Interesting no suckling or any other mid pricer. I would def leave goddard in if still a DEF though. 9/10

MID:
Very nice. 10/10

RUC:
Mummy best ruck prem IMO. Not too sure on Grundy, interestingly a very popular pick. 9/10

FOR:
Very good. Think u could do with 1 really reliable premium such as rocky (if FOR) 9/10

I very much like this side. The best ive seen on the site. Well done.

ubeaut

Great side. Only thing I would change in terms of structure personally is Downgrade a back, keep Sandilands and use the cash to get another mid.

Defence looks really good, although no idea what will happen with Shaw next year
Midfield looks really good as well, although would prefer Beams over Murphy
Rucks could go either way. Mummy definitely has potential, and has shown how well he can score. Not sure if Grundy can keep dishing out good scores for an entire season.
IF Rocky retains FWD/MID DPP (which he really should due to spending over half the year in the forward line), then you'll need to get him in there ASAP. But assuming he doesn't in this scenario, forwards look great.

Overall a really good team, 9/10 :D

Played around wwth the structure a bit, a really dont see much worth picking in the fwd line premiums, but a lot of value in the cheaper picks, can see Bock, Fasolo, Michie and Hogan all playing every game if fit. The backline is the opposite, no obvious vslue or good rookie picks, so have loaded up here. Rocky if a fwd will be put in, but still maintaining he wont be (even though I think he should).

Like to stick mostly to the premo and rookie structure and feel I have  13 keepers, plus suckling and d.thomas, then the under 200k players/rookies for cash. Rookies will obviously change but allowed a bit of room to go pricier rookies like fasolo, tyson And scharenberg.

Mark IV. More playing around. Got Bock in, dont think Scharenberg will play early having not run for a few months and having other si ilar players ahead of him, but will get games at some point. No Ablett, think this may be the year to not start him, but added Selwood and Danger with extra cash. Rucks and fwds similar.

Nice team mate but I don't think Mumford is the right choice next year anymore. I liked him all along until the draft where GWS went and got a load of big men, with them now having 3-4 rucks capable of playing Round 1. I think Giles may play in a two ruck strategy next year with him which isn't what you want. Rory Lobb may get blooded at some stage also. Goldy, Minson etc are the blokes you want.

You're also missing Rockliff mate, he is a must IMO. You have to get him in somehow or another.

Watch Higgins over the preseason too mate, could be a liability, but otherwise is a pretty decent scorer.

Also don't like the pick of Bock but that's just my opinion. Other than that, well done mate, and good luck for next year. 8/10 :)

Higgins and bock are both watch and wait players, not set on them yet. Main problem is lack of rookies in the backs, everyone has scharenberg bbut as a pies fan really cant see him playing the first few rounds with his foot injuries and seedsman, obrien, williams and a returning toovey and young all ahead as running backs.

Rockliff will be an immediate in if fwd, but think he  ill be mid only. Not because he doesnt deserve to be fwd, but because champion data like to do little things like that to stop 95% of people picking one guy.

Not sure on Bock though bit of age on him and leg may not be 100% for him. Just see if he plays pre-season and make a decision. Agree Scharenberg will not play early so maybe look at an alternative to Bock but nice price if he stays on the park.
5 premium mids is the way to go this year.
With Nic Nat wait and see whether he has a DPP forward if so I would move him forward and get another Ruck in with making McBean your 4th ruck.

Agree re Bock Ringo. If selected I will pick him, only needs to average 70-80 to be worth the pick. Am keeping a close eye on the backsjust to find 3 players for d6-8 under 200k who will even play. Hoping McDonald from roos will be a back. Scharenberg and zak jones the only others good enough to play, but ended up at pies and sydney which make it tough.

Ringo

Keep an eye on Gardiner at Lions as well. He may get games.
