How could Schwarzenegger have a big penis? did steroids for years :P

Fantasygun

Use PEDMAS or BODMAS or whatever you call it.
Brackets come first so
6/2(1+2) becomes
6/2(3)
Division and multiplication are commutative so you go left to right.
6/2=3
And then 3(3)=3*3=9

Ringo

Haha should I stop and let other people answer them?
Reminds me of a time playing soccer in primary school where my coach told me to stop scoring goals and let someone else score. I ignored him and scored a couple more to score 8 for the game! :P

Coming from someone who did pretty high level maths, if anyone ever wrote the equation llike that, I would have them hung :P

With the way I have been taught, you interpret it as:

   6
---------
2(1+2)

And if you didn't want that, then it should be written as (6/2)(1+2). So yes 9 would be correct I guess, but you're an idiot if you actually format your equations like that :P

Fantasygun

I don't format equations like that, I didn't make the question up.
Yes but if it was made so it clearly had a denominator and numerator and all everyone would get it right.

I'm not claiming to be smarter than you, I'm probably not but I also have a high mathematical ability.

Haha yeah I know, that's the point of the riddle, not meant to be easy :P

Not saying you're not smarter than me at maths either, for all I know you could be an absolute genius

Fantasygun

Haha, do you have another another riddle?

Riddle #23

There are 100 coins scattered in a dark room. 90 have heads facing up and 10 are facing tails up. You cannot tell which coins are which. How do you sort the coins into two piles that contain the same number of tails up coins?

I think you're supposed to read it like a shower calculator would..

so it would only be
6
---------
2(1+2)

if it was written 6/(2(1+2))

you flip them all on their edges.
